Which brand is your car and phone?

Recommended Posts

Nissan Titan, Samsung

I have used Samsung phones for several years now (ever since my daughter gave me her old phone when she got a new one) but I have more car brands that I can remember

Some that I can remember: (some of the brands I had more than once)

  • Chevy
  • Buick
  • Pontiac
  • Toyota
  • Dodge
  • Chrystler
  • Ford

My wife has a Hyundai

I've had a Corvair, Rambler, Datsuns, Plymouth, Fords, Nissan, Chevy Imala SS, Chrysler, Honda (motorcycle and truck). The Datsun truck had a Chevy V-8 in it so i don't know what you would call that..🤣

I've driven an Excalibur, Jensen and Porsche Targa Carrera with a whaletail  but they weren't mine.😁

I've owned a lot of cars, one of my favorites was my 1972 Buick Limited ( 225 ) known as a Deuce and a Quarter, it had a 455 cu engine and was super comfortable, owned it for 10 years and it still looked beautiful when I sold it, I got rid of my 69 Camaro soon after we started attending the meetings and the family was growing. Mine was blue/black vinyl top.

They belonged to a guy I worked for about 40 years ago. The Jensen was the Interceptor !! with the 440 in it, it was a heavy car and I didn't like it very much. The Excaliber was a lot of fun, it had a 454. My boss would let me use it to do his errands for him. I would pick up my pretty redhead wife and we would drive it around southern California.

It looked like this one.

Nice car. We really liked the 96 Impala SS we had, it was very comfortable and I felt that my wife was very safe driving a big car. It was dark cherry and had the 5.7L in it, it was a lot of fun too...:whistling:

These are highly desirable as they only increased in value in a short time, I always wished I had bought one, bought a new 97 Pontiac grand Prix 3.8 instead and kept it for 24 years, the longest I ever kept a car.

I like the Grand Prix, good choice.

I wish I had kept the SS but it was starting to have mechanical issues and I needed a reliable car. We bought the Chrysler 300.

My favorite car was my Pontiac Star Chief Executive - it looked like this one, same green color. It had a 389 with Holley 650 4bbl carb. It was a very comfortable, smooth-running car. I got a couple hundred-thousand miles out of it ... bought it used in excellent condition

My favorite truck that I owned is probably my Nissan Titan (currently still driving it - 355,000+ miles) although I did like my S-10's and my step-van.

I have never had a "new" car - all my vehicles have been bought used.

Toyota Rav 4  and iPhone XS Max

When I drove the car off the lot in 2003, the salesman said, 'You'll have that car for the rest of your life'. I think he may be right;  It has 59,491 miles on it and still in excellent condition... I'm not  😑🙂
