Wyoming has the largest number of JWs out of all US States

This is worded incorrectly, as that's not what the article says.

Jehovah's Witnesses make up only 1% of the US population and more than 1% of the population in only five states. The state of Wyoming has the largest percentage of Jehovah's Witnesses at 3% of the population.

The article says 3% of Wyoming's population are Witnesses.   Wyoming, though, is the least populated US state. https://worldpopulationreview.com/states

So, it's not that most of the Jehovah's Witnesses in the US live in Wyoming. It's that Wyoming has the closest ratio of publishers to population.  This is because Wyoming has the smallest population in the United States

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

It doesn't seem like Wyoming has an Annual Convention?

Looks like the JWs in Wyoming all have to travel to another state to attend the Annual Convention.

It is quite a distance in the western states.  A few years ago, I visited a congregation in Scottsbluff, Nebraska (which is just over the border from Wyoming) and they were getting ready to attend their convention in Denver, Colorado.

Is there any particular reason for this ?

Before giving too much attention to these kind of surveys, the methodology would need to be interrogated.

According to our 2022 report, there were 1,238,431 peak publishers in US with a Memorial attendance of 2,344,212. Just looking  at the 25 states showing a JW population of 1% and above in the survey, this totals 2,617,900.

PEW survey

26% are not sure or believe in a form of evolution

24% Favour or have no view on same-sex marriage

16% accept homosexuality

25% approve or dont know about abortion being legal

50% have a political ideology

25% have a political affiliation

10% believe in or don't know about hell

38% don't believe in heaven

These are said to be Jehovah's Witnesses???  I wouldn't waste any more time on this survey.

In fact the Pew research data says that there are approximatly 2.5 millions Jehovah's Witnesses in the US.

2.5 millions - 1.2 millions equals 1.3 millions people who identify as Jehovah's Witnesses but aren't counted as publishers by the organization, which should be either inactive brothers or disfellowshipped ones who still identify as witnesses.

So that means that in the US there are more inactive and disfellowshipped people than active ones. Looks like the spirit of the nation made of Iron and clay has done damage also in the organization.

Not necessarily, the Memorial Attendance is just under 2.5 million, therefore I suspect many who attend the Memorial once-a-year, but otherwise do not associate with any other religious group, would reply 'JW' if asked to self-identify which Christian faith they profess.

Yes, of course they may be inactive, or disfellowshipped, though with also half-a-million Bible Studies, I would expect many of those extras at the Memorial would be classified as 'interested ones'.
