I am a ceramic tile and marble installer, which often translates into complete bathroom remodeling.

That's a great Job..I suppose you get to look at the finished results and be proud.. Is it tough on your back and knees

I have a few friends in the tiling and cementing areas.

Different to cleaning Rental properties.

i work for a large printing company.all you red sox fans I print the red sox year book.I used to work on the big press (like the socity's) for 15 years then I moved to a cover press,I now print just the covers. My cousin brings me the paper,i print the cover,my best friend of 30 +yrs prints the inside,by brother puts it all together, and my ex wife puts and address label on it and takes care of the subcriptions.Of course there are a couple hundred other people involved.I work 12 hr shifts,7am to 7pm with no breaks in between (yes its legal) One week i work monday, thursday, and friday, then the next week I work tuesday, wensday, and sat and sunday is overtime, then it flops back to the last week scedual. But since my wife left me I have to work more. This week i go to work tuesday and work every day till next tuesday, thats will give me 84 hrs in one week.most of my field time I get from informal wittnessing.I have never been that good at door to door but I'll strike up a conversation anywhere anytime with someone.I found people love to talk about 3 things, themselves, the weather, and other people, there is always something they say that allows me to talk about the Truth.Just last week I placed 6 mags. at work,3 in a check out line at walmart and one at a little store down town.when people talk about there problems it i can give them a real connection to what the Bible says about that.

Lets see.....

My list is a little varied between 14-18. I started working at a coffee shop, but there was one girl there who would go on day in day out about how her dad thought she was a princess and how she was sooo great. It got old rather quickly and then I transitioned into doggy day care. That was quite fun until some of the workers did not do their job right and so they figured cut everyones hours till they could find a whole new crew. so at that point I started at a little motel down near san diego that my mom worked at. That was lots of fun too till my mom got pregnant and we had to stop going down there. I guess that worked out since I started hanging out with one of the guys that had worked there and then stopped. Best way to stop seeing a guy is stop seeing him due to circumstances beyond your control. LOL. There's a whole story kind of funny in weird way that goes along with that one. Somewhere in there, I think between doggie daycare and motel I worked at a store in the mall. Did his bookkeeping too for few months. That would have been ok except the owner was an Indian guy that always insisted I gave him a hug. Weird right..And then that was also when I found out how he would double the prices of normal things and then say 50% off. It was just weird how he worked it. .Next was a telemarketing job that was easy, good pay, decent job, good boss, but they were doing some things that were apparently not kosher and my dept was one of first shut down before FBI raided them few months later. Anyone seeing a pattern here?? My cool jobs kept getting taken away from me and always had something wrong with them. LOL :depressed:

That was the job I met my husband at. So he was still working there and I started working across the street at the Marriott as front desk person. Another job I loved but I got into trouble at that one too. Again mostly not my fault. My immediate supervisor who wasnt much older than me was always looking at the magazines from the gift shop. So one day that was super slow, I asked her if I could look at some of the mags too. Shes like sure I don't care as long as you keep them under the counter so no one could see and help anyone if they needed it. So I did and she reported me. I didnt neglect anyone but she did and got away with it. Then there was this young brother I had befriended not with any intentions of anything other than Im a good friend. So he would start calling me at the hotel all day several times a day. I'm like dude I'm working. You can't keep calling me. Did that stop him? NOoooo. He just kept calling. So that along with other things going on in my life at the time ended that one. So at that point was not at home anymore and didnt really work for awhile, just helped my now husband with his dad taking him here and there and what not.

Fast forward about 9 months. The above mentioned job sent my husband to carribbean to find out what was going on down there with some projects. We were there about 3 yrs and I didn't work much. Came back got real estate license. That was ok untill real estate took big dump in 2007. Then got insurance license and have been doing that off and on ever since.

Wow thats like a lot of job history for a 30 yr old right

Hello! I work for a Drs answering service. we are the ones to reach when the doctors office is closed and there is an emergency. I love my schedule.. I currently work about 20 hours a week, good pay. Right now my goal is to regular auxiliary pioneer for about a year, and then next year onto regular pioneering. My schedule is flexible enough to do both. I will continue to make it a matter for prayer though :)

This will be my 8th year working as a Paraeducator for 'special ed'. Before that I worked at Walmart in the 'cash office'. Before Walmart I worked for the police department, in records. The paraeducator job gives me more time for service during the Winter, Spring and Summer breaks. My husband was diganoised w/ advanced cancer a few months ago, so I'm thankful that I have a job that has also has given me time to spend with him this summer.

I am a retired Executive Assistant/Research Assistant in the field of psychology. Before that I was a Freelance Writer and Copy Editor. Because of my background I am probably one of the few people who loves writing talks. I don't enjoy giving talks mind you, but I do enjoy all the research and writing that comes with that assignment.

Am a quality assurance analyst Working in a sugar industry. Its very busy between April and November and the only time I manage in the ministry is on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Between December and May we are closed and this allows me time to do axillary pioneering and catch up on spiritual activities during those months.

I work as a dog groomer 3 days a week a PETCO. I love it! They are super flexible with my hours and I get a 25%+ discount on all in store items for my dog and rabbit. Jehovah really answered ny prayer for a simple job that pays what I need and I can still do all my spiritual activities. :)

I am a 9-1-1 dispatcher, 12 hour days, one week I work 36 hours, the next week I work 48 hours. When I work Mon-Thurs I work 5:30am to 5:30 pm but when I work Friday - Sun my boss just let me change with another co-worker so I work noon to midnight on Friday - Sunday. I've been doing this for about 12 years now all together. I've worked in factories before that, was a mgr of a little convenience store for a very short time. It didn't take me long to realize that when workers didn't show up the store had to have a body to keep it open 24/7 365.

I am currently trying to get a job with the state, would love to do just Monday thru Friday and only 8 hours.

I work three days a week, Tues-Thurs. I love my job, the schedule is very flexible, I can change it whenever I need a day off. If I need Tuesday off, I can change my Tuesday hrs to Monday. So I get my day off, but I don't lose my money.

It's not a hard job, no stress, and I really need that. Being by myself as well is nice. I don't have to deal with customers, coworkers, answering phones, lol. I just go to my offices, sit in their conference room, do the records then leave.

It's a real good part time job.

This sounds like a perfect job... hang on to it.

My perfect job is I'd love to go back on the pioneer list. But since I need insurance, sooo I'm praying that I can go back on the pioneer list when I retire if not before.

I used to work for The DEA.  I was a group's secretary/payroll/and evidence room tech.   Prior to getting the job with DEA, I was working for an insurance company, and I worked with law enforcement, checking criminal backgrounds of propective clients.   It was very exciting.

Dear Pink Petal,

I raise toy poodles and since I do my own grooming both for pet and for show we may have some things in common. I have an Aunt who lives in Santa Rosa. I used to live nearby in Vacaville and Woodland but now live in Oklahoma. I loved driving through Sonoma and the green rolling hills, but they're not green this time of year unless irrigated. Sabastapol was one of my favorite little towns, so quaint. I haven't been back there for over 15yrs. I am trying to go back and visit the friends soon, the ones who taught me the truth and helped me out when times were tough. I thought this year we could go for a visit but as things happen, it looks as if this year won't be our year to visit, maybe next year. Glad to meet you.

As far as work goes, I have worked at restaurants, photography places, horse ranches, newspapers(as motor routes, deliveries and secretary), as an auctioneer assistant, ran my own daycare, worked in accounts payable for a large corp. and then worked for a bank in loans before my head-on collision with another car. Now I am disabled but raise toy poodles with my husband for xtra income.

Originally, I worked with a diabetes program. Lots of diabetes in the native population. I was outreach, but, ended up traveling all over the US, into Canada, and even Hawaii, being part of presentations, and giving presentations. I sort of specialized in foot care. Got some training at the Hu Hu Cam hospital in Navaho country. One time I gave a talk on foot care with over 200 people there. MD's in the audience. I shudder to think of it today. In reality, I did teach one of my favorite MD's nail care. But still...

Then I got the job here as site coordinator of a little clinic. I worked in the lab, drew blood, gave immunizations, medical assisted, filed charts, and ll that went with that, did the front office, worked with the pharmacy, plus ordering supplies. That was the worst thing. Too many suppliers, and you had to learn what came from whom. It was trial and error. Then there were the clients. Always interesting. Always.

But, essentially, I needed to be able to do what was needed at the moment. Then if no medical provider was there, I had to take care of it. Stop the bleeding, call an ambulance, whatever. I was always afraid someone would show up in labor. We were one and a half hours from the hospital. Never did happen. Dr. said he wanted me to attend a delivery with him. I was not overly concerned, but, then I would have more training then I really wanted to deal with.

Then came retirement. It was sort of hard. That little clinic was what I was allowed to create. When I came, filing was a pile of papers, no phones, (satellite phone, initially) no computers. When I left, we had phones, 7 or so computers, and were paperless. All done by the computer. Good old Next Gen.

So now, it is my ministry, all that goes with the truth, my family, home and garden. The family, of course, includes you dear friends.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!
