Yes, of course, but this too we already know!

One of the dangers of setting a high expectation for everything we receive is the disappointment of normality

If I may, dear Sister Scherryl,: not that much! There are many very important things that are, not just said and repeated, but highlighted, in this update. I naively tell myself that if it was to repeat what we already know and know, they would have chosen another theme... wouldn't they ?(OMO)

@Dolce vita Every update that we’ve had, has always “highlighted” our growth and “increases” from our Ministry around the globe be it the Philippine Islands, Africa, or Belize. And we can expect more encouraging updates soon from September campaign on offering Bible Studies. So like I mentioned: “Yes, of course that’s wonderful and all, but it’s like we already expect that to happen.” Is it spectacular…, Yes of course when we look around the world and we see wars, falsely imprisonment of our brothers and sisters, gun violence, hunger, racial disparities. We are still amazed that people are responding to the Bible message inspite of these problems. But I already expect that—-because new ones will be coming in up into the Great Tribulation. However, I was hoping this update would expound on explanations of events surrounding Revelations, perhaps shorter Meetings, Ramapo Project, and a further explanation of the generation that will witness all these things before the end to come. What generation is this? I see a lot of our elderly friends in their 90’s and 100’s passing away. This to me, in my honest opinion, “IS A FLASH OF LIGHT” that we can use some more explanation of. And so from reading the posts of those who had already viewed the update, that it was just encouragements from the increase in the ministry, something we already expect to happen, I turned over and went back to sleep and will wait until the public gets it. Glad it’s up now tho, because this weekend I’ll be busy watching Alabama vs Georgia Bulldogs…. 🗣️ROLL TIDE 🐘🏈🐘🏈🐘🏈 COORS LITE🍻😁

I like the aspect of continuously offering Bible studies...

To me it sounds like we won't need a specific campaign for offering studies anymore.

This is also exactly how I understood it, as if from now on preaching was reduced to directly proposing the study and seeing what happens. Also, don't waste your time when students stagnate for reasons that are not reasonable.

This was highlighted at the pioneer school. We should offer Bible Studies at EVERY opportunity possible, it’s how we make disciples which is our end goal.

I think it’s nice to have a campaign however, it’s a good start to the service year and with the 15 hour Auxiliary requirement many more in my Cong have been pioneering and out on in person ministry. We even have an extra ministry arrangement now which has been a big boost!

The zeal for the ministry this month has been great and I hope it continues for the rest of the service year.

Yeah some interesting points about return visits and Bible studies. We need to make our blows count this close to the end

Perfectly! And focusing on this goal allows you to endure many things: disappointments, emotional shocks, even justified anger that does not last, just long enough to let the storm pass. All this while traveling light in your heart, all in the joy of rejoicing the heart of Jehovah. This is how I see you living, delightful and courageous Hannah @TheKid23

In addition to the news last week of the historic decision by the Supreme Federal Court Brazil shared by our brother @Nathansantos, we received more news on the same front in Update, #6: respect for patient's rights to make health care decisions.  The decision by the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human in the case of Sister Pinto Mulla from Spain is no less 'groundbreaking' in that its decision obligates 46 countries in Europe to respect those rights.

That was two outstanding legal victories within 2 weeks, all thanks  and praise to Jehovah.

With the emphasis to start more Bible studies, offering them “at every appropriate occasion”, and making sure we are not lingering with unproductive return visits or Bible studies, this update left me very motivated. For me, it wasn’t just the same encouragement (our main goal is to make disciples), but it’s helping me to see the nearness of the end, hence the urgency.

I want to be part of the group of people that worked tirelessly through to the end, which we can all see is very near. Like the more intensive marching around Jericho on the seventh day, or the angel grabbing Lot's hands and pulling him and his family to get out of Sodom. It’s exhilarating to be a part of this last great push!
