We studied with a couple in the 80’s and they ran a business that rented out pagers.  The business was called Paging Communications.  I didn’t know pagers were still used today.

It’s just amazing to me how the world reacts differently depending on who is targeted. 
Imagine if Russia did that to a shipment going to the US or UK.  The outrage might would just lead to a major war. 
On the one hand, we know they can listen to us with Siri/Alexa etc, on the other I don’t think I ever thought about people purposefully exploding thousands of phones!

Thankfully none of those Hezbollah were on a commercial aircraft when their pagers blew up.

We have had similar horrific acts in other lands including exploding children's toys. It is a constant reminder to be very careful, even about day-to-day activities. Maybe there is a principle we can take from texts like the first part of Deut 4:9 - "Just be careful and watch yourself closely".

If Israel was able to get into the supply chain and modify the pagers, it makes me wonder if they were able to track the pagers and use them to locate secret meeting places. A gathering of pagers in one location would be a target.

Based on everything I’ve heard so far, it seems Israel and maybe more specifically Netenyahu, has been waiting for reason to go after everyone they feel are a threat. 
The atrocity of October 7th has just led to more atrocities.  The state of Gaza is sickening. 
I feel so sorry for all of the common people caught in the middle of these wars.

We have friends that had moved to Israel several years ago and they recently moved back to our area because of the war.
