ok sisters. I had some Fake Nails put on for my Brothers Wedding. They lasted a long time. But are now coming of. Is there a trick for removing them.

Any accides to losen the glue.

Guys if you have any chemistry ideas too.Lol will be mega appreciated.:)

I will do that.

When I worked for dad painting & detailing.

Part of my job was to Clean the spray gun. I would wear rubber gloves. The Thinners would eat the rubber as well as the paint. Lols

So if the acid you talk about. It must be powerful ::o

Muriatic acid is used to clean algae off of the plaster sides of swimming pools and to balance the water chemistry, very nasty stuff. I was going to post it to be funny, but then thought you might take me seriously and get hurt! :nope:

In my occupation I ran a peanut grinder on concrete daily. I kept my finger nails relatively long just for the protection of my finger tips. Gloves were not always enough protection.

Vietnamese FUN!!! When we visited the Vietnamese congregation in Garden Grove, CA - at a get together they showed us this video - VERY FUNNY!

Ok seriously so you have fingers Get ACETONE nail polish remover. They sell it at drugs store hopefully everywhere. Soak a cotton ball in the in the a acetone wrap, put it on a fingernail and wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Gonna be hard to to both hands at one time maybe someone can help. Then just sit and relax for about 20 minutes. Check after 20 minutes to see if they are loose. They will get really gross and gummy but eventually you can scrap the residue off. It's not fun or really easy but it will work.

Hey Gabe , I always soak in acetone,you have to buff what doesn't come off , then put olive oil on the nails, it really helps them feel better.

Oh,I just saw Heathers post....yeah at least a 20 minuit soak.

Hmmm...nope don't use that, can you cut them back so they don't bother you until you can get to the store?

I wouldn't use kerosene. Just wait until you can get to the store. You can use regular nail polish remover if you have it. Also if you have nail polish remover check it maybe its a acetone. Here in the US we have a choice non-acetone or acetone remover.

Especially a handdrill & plyers. I have had to buy pink ones. As hubby & dad would like the ones i had lols.

No true man would be seen dead with pink. Lols
