  1. Wow, I just saw the new site. Looks so different. I like it. I haven't been on in a couple of weeks, so just saw it.

Yes, we did a little redecorating. Welcome back :D

  2. How do you unwind?

OVER. That is how they do it in hotels. I like when they fold the tp to a point. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  3. My husband was 25 when I met him. He was a MS, lived at home and had a steady job. It didn't bother me at all. My father never left home till he was 24 and got married, so it wasn't anything strange or out of the ordinary to me. We've been happily married for 14 yrs and he had no problems with 'cutting the cord'. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  4. Honestly, I wish my parents wouldn't have homeschooled me from 7th grade on. I'm already an introvert, and I think it held me back socially in a lot of ways. I became anti-social. It was a fad that a lot of the parents were doing in my congregation. A lot of the homeschooled kids would go out in service all day and not do much school work. This happened all the time. I don't even think many of them graduated. I think it also depends on how involved the parents are. My parents were just like, here are these books. Read them and send in the papers. They weren't involved at all. I was very motivated and made A's, but they never made the last payment to the school, so I never got a diploma. They didn't care at all, and my Dad was an elder. So, I feel bitter about the whole thing. If done right and the parents are involved, I think it can be good. If done wrong, it can really affect the child.
  5. Wow! I can barely keep up with my 20 gal. Lol. They must pay someone or spend a lot of time on it. Beautiful though.
  6. I don't know much about tablets. I know that I want a larger size Samsung Galaxy Tab. I'm thinking of getting this tablet which is about $249 at my local store. Can someone look at the specs for me and tell me if it's a good deal? Thanks! http://www.walmart.com/ip/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A-9.7-1024-x-768-1080p-HD-1.2GHz-1.5GB-RAM-16GB-Storage-Android-5.0-Lollipop-5MP-Camera-Rear/43803328 Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

  8. Color Run

That would be different. I've never seen it advertised around here as such. I wouldn't do it, but I know a few witnesses in my area who do.
  9. Color Run

Just wanted to add a thought. Here in the US and other places, people still use pinatas at birthday celebrations. In 2003 we had an article about it: http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102003687#h=1:0-20:45 I think some of the same principles can be applied to the matter of color runs. Quote from Wikipedia- Today, the piñata is still part of Mexican culture, the cultures of other countries in Latin America, as well as the United States, but it has mostly lost its religious character. Could we say that the color run has mostly lost it's religious character? Just a thought.
  10. I like Call the Midwife too
  11. Did you know?

Awesome! Will Brian Williams be there too?
  12. Big Eyes

Just saw it. I never saw this post before seeing so imagine my surprise! I really liked the movie and yes it paints us in a favorable light. The truth book! Haha. I was elbowing my hubby to death lol.
  13. JW's on Youtube

    Thanks, that was very helpful!
  14. Your Primary Race?

As far as being biracial and filling out forms... I was once told that if you can only choose one box to choose whatever your father's race is. Maybe that's what they meant by primary race.
