In encouraging a sister recently I told her that a true friend was one who could love you" despite all our bumps and warts". And it's the qualities we have inside that counts.

This description came back to haunt me when I dug this up in the garden. Now THAT"S bumps and warts!! But what's inside will be delicious in the soup pot Wednesday! Yes, it's the inside that counts.

The interesting building in Covent Garden:

My wife and went to have a look at that in Covent Garden yesterday. It is quite impressive and really appears to be floating on air. It is an art installation called "take my lightning but don't steal my thunder" by Alex Chinneck.
