I spent a whole year traveling around Australia in 2012. Went everywhere, Sydney, Byron Bay, Airlie Beach, Cairns, Darwin, Ayers Rock, Melbourne, Tasmania...not Perth though. Would recommend it a billion billion times. GO!

Hey Brother your post reminded me of this add we had some years ago

 

I have been most places as well. Except for Ayers Rock, & Darwin. 

Been to Perth. we drove across the Nullabor. Its amazing how BIG the outback is.

This is our Version of Long Beach. 
Located about 1 & 1/2hrs drive South from me.

Waters are very clear.

Gabe, I was doing Google Earth and looked at Australia, it is just beautiful. And I didn't know, fathom how big it is. And the water is gorgeous. I cruised all along the Southern boarder from Melbourn up toward Perth, didn't make it. Got tired!! Lots to look at- city boundaries, water, boardwalks over the water, boats.....it is incredible.

I have been bitten by spiders more times than I would like.

I haven't seen any snakes near were I live. People in my territory tell me they have had some snakes like the King Brown & Red Belly in their Laundries.

But that is it.

I was in an Aussie Disposals shop & discovered this insect repellent. It is awesome.

 

It has a pleasant smell. Mozzies hate it.

Otford  is located a foothills of the Royal National Park,

This view is taken looking down over Wollongong & surrounding suburbs.

This was taken before a storm hit. was so hot up here & then we hit Woonona & the temperature changed in a manner of 20mins. Spectacular both ways.
