In the other news...Iran

While leaving work yesterday I heard this on the radio...

Negotiators extended a temporary deal limiting Iran's nuclear program, which was set to expire. Secretary of State John Kerry said Iran has been living up to the deal and talks should continue...

 

...He says the world is safer because Iran is living up to the interim agreement that's now being extended by another seven months, to the end of June. Kerry also says these extensions can't be unlimited, and they may not get to a deal.

 It sound like the same old news. What is new about this? According to Iran, USA is Great Satan and according to USA, Iran are religious fanatics.

What is new - they pushed the deadline out. While one could say - don't they always? Sure - when negotiations don't go as hoped, but each time they push it out - that is "news".

I imagine one day Israel will have enough and go on a bombing run. And while that too has happened before, it will also be "news".

One day, they will say, "peace & security "
