Calling all cat lovers...

Recommended Posts

I looove cats, but, only owned 1 in my life. Now, I have a cat as a houseguest for a week, for someone who went away.

Because it comes from a home with dogs, kids, etc., I want to rinse the cat off. Is vinegar or hydrogen peroxide ok? google is offering conflicting advice.

Other natural things to pop in their meals are seaweed (Kelp) they don't usually mind the taste of that and it conditions the coat ... egg yolks and brewers yeast.

Don't you have him for a week? The yeast will condition his coat isn't that what you are asking? I think I've missed something haha.

That's good to know for when i get my own cat.   But, with my 'guest' cat...i just want to wipe it down...without getting my eyes clawed out. :infatuated:  I don't know it's temperment, so i won't attempt a bath...most cat don't like that right? I take it , you have cats?

Yes I have a cat ... a wild cat ... I don't bathe her, but she loves water - she's a water cat.  But I use a lot of supplements to keep her coat clean. Always use cold teabags to clean her eyes. I don't bathe her - no need to.

haha ... yeah you could say that ... my one has three legs - so she's beautiful, unique, clumsy and a real crack up to watch.

The Breeder was and still is a sister ... her mother (the cat's mother) was a small Bengal, usually they get quite big ... but her first litter was four cats and two of those were very big cats and we think our one (abi we call her) got 'squashed' in the womb and her leg got starved of oxygen and just didn't grow - so she has this twisted stump - she takes very good care of it and still uses it to balance on window sills etc, but she can't weight bear on it.  The breeder didn't know what to do with her so we asked if we could have her and here she is. Munted like  me - we go well together.

You have a macaw too.. Or is that stuffed... .. Bengals love water on their terms .. If you are just having it for a week .. Just brush it ..

Zeph 3:17 Jehovah your God is in the midst of you. As a mighty One, he will save. He will exult over you with rejoicing. He will become silent in his love. He will be joyful over you with happy cries....... Love it....a beautiful word picture.
