I know that it is Psalms, with 150 divisions.  Isaiah might come second...

Psalms is the book with the most chapters and the longest verse (119).  Very interesting link.

The point in the article is that although Psalms has more chapters, Jeremiah and Genesis have more words, more content. Yes, Psalms covers more pages in the Bible, but that's because it's poetry and a lot of space remains unused.

So, I haven't done the math, but I'd say the most prolific writer is Moses followed by Jeremiah, who wrote Kings, Jeremiah and Lamentations.
