Costco food you like

Recommended Posts

This is actually what I did not enjoy: SORRY.

Namely Costco's baked cheesecake, there is hardly any cheese in it ..tastes like a potato mixed with small amount of cheese.

I am talking about Costco in Melbourne, could be different in the US.

I love the wild caught Langastino's in the frozen seafood section. It's the only place I can find langastino's at all and I love them. I make langastino nacho's with them and even the hubby will eat them!

Mandi, if you're reading this and can get me a big box of langastino's I will be forever grateful! haha!

An old cook went out ridin' out one dark and windy day
Upon a cart he rested as he went along his way
When all at once a mighty herd of red-eyed bugs he saw
Stacked in the frozen section wild caught and raw
Yippie-aye-aee, yippie-aye-ohh,
Langostinos on sale at Costco..

Their shells were the color of fire and their eyes were cold as steel
Their tails were long and shining and their freshness he could feel
A bolt of fear went through him as he hurried fast to buy
For he saw more cooks coming hard and he heard their mournful cry
Yippie-aye-ooh, yippie-aye-aee,
Langostinos on sale at Costco..

As the cooks rushed on by him he heard one call his name
If you want to save your nachos from burning on your range
Then cook change your ways today or with us you will fry
You better buy the frozen herd in these endless aisles
Yippie-aye-aee, yippie-aye-ooh,
Lanostinos on sale at Costco..
Yippie-aye-aee, yippie-aye-ooh,
Langostinos on sale at Costco

Oh my...

Something about the words 'langostino at Costco' made me think of 'Ghost riders in the sky' so I revised the lyrics a little. I have an old Tom Paxton album and he made a parody of the song called 'Yuppies in the Sky'.

Since we have a Sam's Club and no Costco in our area .... I do not have a favorite food from Costco

That's ok, they're amazingly similar. Do you have a favorite food from Sam's?

Can't say I have a favorite .... however, their double pack of pork butts/shoulder smoke quite nicely as do their packs of ribs. The 3 pound packs of wings fry up good and make some tasty "buffalo wings".

I also like some of their blocks of cheese since they have a nice selection of cheeses we do not have in our grocery stores.
