There’s a difference between singing and sangin’. Sam Smith can sang!

I got to see Chicago open with the song in November of 1977. It was one of the last performances by Terry Kath before his tragic death in February 1978. One of the best concerts I ever went to. I wish I had better maturity at the time to truly appreciate it as I was only 18. Terry was the soul of Chicago. The band continues on, just not the one I recall. They still put on a great show.

Great version. Along with IZ and Louis Armstrong.  I really like Rod Stewarts performance too.

Thanks 😊 I’ve been listening to Sam Cook’s albums lately. He was really talented. I wish all of his stuff was available on Apple Music. I’ll post some more of his stuff.

It's a George Benson Friday! My mom loved the music of Nat King Cole. She would have loved this.

One of the best recordings I can think of.   Walkin' My Baby Back Home , Route 66 ,  and every track is so good.

I enjoy when bands cover other artists songs. This is from a concert in Germany where for their encore legendary band Chicago performs two classics by The Spencer Davis Group and the Beatles.
