This year I'm celebrating 44 years of NOT celebrating Christmas.

What did you think I meant?

I’m glad you said “this year I’m celebrating” and not “this weekend I’m celebrating” or I would have told Santa not to ...

Hang on. I’ve got it wrong again.

The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. Ec 12:13

I’ll just be glad when this pagan holiday business is over.

I was on Facebook earlier and saw an article, actually a video that was titled: 5 things to know about Christmas. Anyway a person posted “yeah, it’s the day Jesus was born. After all he’s the reason for the season.”

i just couldn’t resist. I mentioned about the shepherds wouldn’t have their flocks out in the cold, rainy time of year. And how the date was set to coincide with the “pagan” worship of winter solstice.

Than added: Imagine that. Mixing Jesus with paganism.

Huh! I watched a little of the video and while it was explaining the wrongs, th3 music behind it was Christmas music..

O someone di$ give my post a “like”

Isaiah 33:24  "And no resident will say: “I am sick.”

I scratch my head and wonder, the spirit of commercialism is predominately the reason for the season, but even if you are religious, Jesus wasn’t born on this day, and it’s a pagan celebration. How do people reconcile this?

No spirituality, and happy to be misled by marketing and paganism. What we leave behind is really a lot of refuse. Dont know why they feel sorry for us.

Was on the carts Saturday and everyone walking around in Santa Claus hats. One particular woman - I'm assuming she knew we didn't celebrate Christmas - said "Merry Christmas' - with a smirk on her face. I replies why thank you that is very kind of you.  Walking back later she had a very grumpy look on her face ... not sure they understand the word "Merry" honestly.

It seems to me that people are either delusional or in denial.  Then there are

other folks that just go along to get along...knowing it has devolved into a

commercialization frenzy...of monumental proportions.  It's all about the

money, more money.

I got to witness for quite awhile to a nurse in my lung doctor's office.

She admitted that Christmas is a pagan holiday and said that she celbrates it

as a family get together holiday.   She is a staunch Baptist.  She is also delusional and in denial.:(
