First I heard of this and th3 article says the last know illness was from October 31.

I stopped buying it with the last outbreak...but you never know what's going to be next..

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it was working with officials in Canada on the outbreak, which has sickened 32 people in 11 states in the U.S. and 18 people in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

The strain identified is different than the one linked to romaine earlier this year , but it appears similar to one linked to leafy greens last year.

I just saw one on turkey and now lettuce again. I eat a lot of salads, so this is scary. 

 

I seriously like moving to a rural farm and growing all of my own vegetables.

I see I need to take the lettuce off of my BLT. I’m ok with that - as long as I don’t take the bacon off. Hey, I can use chicken instead. Wow, am I glad Jehovah gave us meat to eat.

Perfect. Maybe I should ditch my low carb diet and just eat this. Being fat is probably way more fun than getting hospitalized with E. Coli. 😂
