Possibly... but if you look at this entire year, them policing the internet to an extent now makes sense. Look what happened in the Christchurch NZ incident, and the way the internet usuage pushed it further for more copycats.

 

Reading these UN, meetings, this has been in the works as they try to avoid more massacres like that one from being arranged and glorified by internet groups.

Enjoy JW.ORG as best we can, cause like you, I see a removal or blockage of our site down the road, as we get closer to them uniting themselves.  .  King of North and allies, pushing for Internet control what you can and cannot see and who you should support, like in China, internet has all propaganda of the communist government.   Wow, feels so good that Jehovah's day is coming.  Get rid of these governments once and for all and ALL of false religion who supports them, whether they are self made by communist or other domination's in the so call "free world".

And there is where we see Jehovahs hand ... jw library allows us to build up a personal library on our own devices.  Not on a cloud (out of our control) not on a website  (which can be monitored and closed by authorities at will)  but recorded on our own hardware.  There is more than enough information to see us through the tribulation and some should our website be closed.  At first I could not understand the duplication of our watchotower online library (internet) and library (downloadables) but as things progressed it became clear what the brothers were doing and why.  Or rather what Jehovah was preparing us for.

A device (I really appreciate 🍎 products!) that while more expensive than others, can be reasonably priced on the resale market. (craigslist) That said, note the confiscation details in Russia. So keep that in mind while building your library/libraries. Data backed up on a thumb drive (some today a lot of storage) that can be accessed on a variety of computers and maybe even modern televisions for video files. They come in a multitude of storage sizes, appearance and some even have strong encryption. 

 

Redundancy is always good! They are also much easier to store securely and being reasonably inexpensive multiple backups can be shared with others as the need may require.

I only had 15 Gb google drive free
I dont pay storage and not using funny 5Gb icloud free space.
Using android phone and tv, buyed 2 ipads 2018, on black friday, because price drops and Samsung i love was expensive. It is easier to manipulate with android devices. Data acess and copy paste is easy, can copy all pdf-s od usb stick OTG which can be stored everywhere..
My next tablet will be android again..

Jokes aside, if we are being serious about saving spiritual food in digital form, any cloud solutions will be useless because they are fully exposed to search algorithms.

 

This system is developing and has developed a whole bunch of clever methods to monitor what we do when we are connected to the net. And they keep getting better at it. We may have to make secret data caches in form of USB drives that we access with standalone digital methods such as an laptop running on Windows 7.

 

 

 

Or have a big wooden crate full of Bibles in the attic.

You don't need JW library when it comes to the crunch, all you needs is a Bible as a PDF and then some books and Watchtowers as PDFs. Again, the idea is to be standalone and not dependent on networks.

 

I'm currently cutting a number of talks and Watchtower studies from our meetings with GoldWave (thanks for whoever gave me that tip by the way) so that I have a nice audio collection of WT studies from our congregation. It may be uplifting to hear the voices from some brothers should they or I be cut off for some reason.
