What I thought about was Nebuchanezzar and his arrogance.  Did not Trump about a month ago or so took a picture in front of a church and held up the bible?

 

Jehovah can send him to eat grass and humiliate him just like he did with Nebuchanezzar.

 

What about King Herod when the people cried out "a gods words and not man's" did not Jehovah have worms eat him up?

 

These world leaders have no idea who they are messing with.

 

I see how the nations are flaunting and flexing their muscles as world leaders but, soon, very soon Jehovah will step in and vanquish all these demi-gods!!

 

They are nothing but a film of dust on a pair of scales to Jehovah.  I feel that Trump felt humiliated because he has contracted this Covid-19 and has nothing to say for himself.  He can't claim its a "hoax".

Yes after months ago calling the virus a hoax..now both he & his wife have Covid-19

 

Those Abraham Accords IMO are a direct blasphemy against God's covenant through Christ Jesus... 

 

At some stage Jehovah will give them an answer

Well if he didn't call it a hoax he was very dismissive of the virus in the beginning..It nearly killed the PM here Boris Johnson

Dismissive, sure. But he never said it was a "hoax". Being dismissive means you acknowledge its existence. Saying its a "hoax" means you don't believe it exists.

We need to remember that when Jehovah takes action that the Nations will know it's Jehovah. Trump getting Covid-19 doesn't proclaim Jehovah's name so we can't assume that Jehovah caused Trump and his staff to test positive.

Yep. A lot of people have said that. But could it be that they fell for the media-driven lies that Trump called it a hoax, which was long proven false? 

 

The influence of the media, even among us, cannot be underestimated. After all, we've had at least 2 fellow worshippers innocently repeat the lie here today. They had no intent of besmirching the President. 

 

But it just goes to the point that if you hear something for long enough with no countervailing views, you tend to believe it.

When a president goes into the hospital for something serious, where he could become unconscious, he normally has a short ceremony in which the vice-president is sworn in as temporary acting president. But it didn't happen this time....there is no precedent for this...I see many issues could come up because of it....

 

Also, if Trump does recover, we are sure to hear a lot of comments about how God is miraculously backing and protecting Trump...it will make him appear invincible and drive the fanaticism surrounding him to new highs...

I have some news which may dishearten some . Based on his age and general condition of the POTUS. He has a 94% chance of FULL RECOVERY without lasting secondary problems.  
    Not to rain on the parade or anything. But we who take care of the sick actually are pretty good at our jobs and Walter Reed is going to apply the very best of care. 
       My personal thoughts on this turn of events. 
    This is a family, of people.  The presidents son in law has said son very fine things about Jehovah’s People. The POTUS and FLOTUS are parents and grandparents. They are constantly maligned and double crossed even by people who pretend to be close friends. They live under circumstances for which probably none of us here would want to trade.  That is the life they are in probably not even knowing just how empty that life is in actuality. Never really knowing who to trust and who truly has your best interests in mind. Never knowing a true friend. From my standpoint it isn’t for a Christian in an Instance  like this to do anything but give consolation and offer prayers. So that is what I have done.

I'm not going to get technical with this.  However, he chose to dismiss it, "Dismiss" he did.  Whether he wanted to accept or reject it,  he was still downplaying this virus as if this virus would magically disappear just like it appeared.  He misled and confused the masses into believing that this virus was not as dangerous as scientist were saying.

Its in Jehovah's hands!  We see that we are heading into the GT as times moves forward.  There are more twists and turns in the road ahead of us and it is not clear how Jehovah will manuever matters. But, we know we are heading in the right direction.
