A Babylonian clay tablet dating back 3,700 years has been identified as the world's oldest and most accurate trigonometric table, suggesting the Babylonians beat the ancient Greeks to the invention of trigonometry by over 1,000 years.

Watch the video it is very good

Zeph 3:17 Jehovah your God is in the midst of you. As a mighty One, he will save. He will exult over you with rejoicing. He will become silent in his love. He will be joyful over you with happy cries....... Love it....a beautiful word picture.

Interesting that we still use Babylonian base 60 for telling time...instead of base 10.

So a right angle is exactly 12 o’clock and 3 o’clock going through the center of the clock or protractor.

I'm still trying to figure out  the Imperial vs. Metric System of measurement! Kind of like learning a new language, don't want to do it! However that is a vert interesting find, maybe they'll find more clay tablets concerning the Bible and Jehovah's name/purpose that will continue to reveal more to the world!

John Longitude Harrison actually invented? no calculated time based on music. I think it's called Lucy Time ... but only part of the manuscript survived ... we had Greenwich Museum ring our family to see if we had the other manuscript. Quite intriguing but I don't quite understand it either.

Are numbers different in Hebrew since that's what we all will be speaking

I've never given this a thought. From  the insight book it would take some getting used to but it's doable.

60 is the smallest number that is evenly divisible by the first 6 numbers. No doubt this is why we are still using 60 for telling time.  It can be broken into smaller units of time in multiple ways.

In another thread, I wrote about how nimrod did not have the backing of God, but because they all spoke one language they were able to start to build this great building. Now, can you imagine in the new system with the backing of Jehovah and we all speak one language what he can help us to accomplish

Ancient Hebrew numbers are based on the alphabet...they have no zero in their numbering system.1-10 and the next letter acts as a place holder for 20 30 40 100 etc gets rather long.

It really was not considered a mathematical language.

"Is physics math? I would love to learn physics...."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relationship_between_mathematics_and_physics

"The relationship between mathematics and physics has been a subject of study of philosophers, mathematicians and physicists since Antiquity, and more recently also by historians and educators.[2] Generally considered a relationship of great intimacy,[3] mathematics has been described as "an essential tool for physics"[4] and physics has been described as "a rich source of inspiration and insight in mathematics".[5]

"In recent times the two disciplines have most often been taught separately, despite all the interrelations between physics and mathematics.[29] This led some professional mathematicians who were also interested in mathematics education, such as Felix Klein, Richard Courant, Vladimir Arnold and Morris Kline, to strongly advocate teaching mathematics in a way more closely related to the physical sciences."

I always loved math, basic math that is, anything else was going to be useless to me since I knew I was never going to use it much in my  carrer.

You have a very good point my brother. Many take math classes in colleges and ended up never using in their carriers. It is is a waste of money. In the New World, who knows what king of mathematics we going to use?

When i asked about being a for sure statement i wasn’t talking about numbers. I was talking about you saying “That’s what we all will be speaking”. I know a lot of people assume that, but have we ever seen that in print?

Peace...... Love...... &....... Paradise......

So not last Tuesday, but the Tuesday before I believe we were going over Nimrod or maybe that was three weeks ago. And the brother that gave the first talk brought out that right. Now we all speak the same pure worship language and alluded to the fact that in the new system. We would all speak one language like they did before Jehovah confuse the languages.
