Brother Hendriks makes some interesting comments about how quickly someone can get baptized.

Hopefully everyone can work out their technical issues privately and we can discuss this article.

Brother Hendriks comment about baptisms is pretty interesting.

Becoming a Jehovah’s Witness typically takes years, but now, aspiring congregants have been able to move through the instruction process online and with remote contact and join the denomination in eight or nine months, Hendriks said.

It does bring to mind the "6 moth Bible Course" we used to have when the blue "Truth Book" was released. Ones were being baptized after 6 moths or, in many cases, the study was dropped.

Quote from article:

This was the writers paraphrase. It would be interesting to read the direct quote.

I definitely agree that the “baptism” process has been expedited with our current situation. Mostly because people “have more time to dive into” their studies. But, that has always been true has it not? You get out of it what you give... a lot of people have more time to give now.

Not only was this not encapsulate in quotes in the article, but brother Hendriks would’ve never used the term “denomination” in referring to us.

Nice find on the article by the way😉
