Can you imagine having to do the accident investigation on that?! The time involved. And then having to deal with it mentally afterwards? 
 

Up to 5 people died last I read. 😔 Also so far 36 people transported to hospital. 

 

People are asked not to travel. But as usual who will listen...even after seeing these pictures.

At this point they think "black ice" was the cause.

 

Besides the 5 that have died, it makes you wonder how many of the injured may lose limbs or other body parts and how many may have lifelong disabling injuries - the news usually only reports on the deaths.

The death toll has gone up to 6

 

They expect the SB side of I-35 to be closed all night while they continue cleanup.

 

They have asked people to stay off the roads and quit driving in this treacherous weather.

First responders whether firemen or law enforcement sure can be wonderful.

 

They actually rescued a dog out of a truck at the accident. They put it in a police car. Nothing on the driver.
