I'm an "Honorary Scott" of Clan Keith if that helps ... but, like Carlos said, what is this thread about :shrugs::confused:

Maybe this is some sort of a cyberspace version of a Rorschach test?

Each member comes to their own conclusion? :D

So here goes... Sorry it's not as exciting as Whisky, or a Rorschach Test 😂. Myself and my wife are moving back to Scotland. Spent 8 years living and working in Glasgow between 2000 and 2008 where I found the truth and got baptized before returning back to South Africa.

Unfortunately I've lost contact with with everyone back in Glasgow.

Does anyone living in Scotland know of anybody who has a spare room, vacant apartment or a sofa to assist with while we quarantine for the mandatory 14 days? Doesn't have to be in Glasgow specifically.

Please PM me if you know of anyone or you are willing to assist, or if you are in a cong where there is a need for an Elder and his Regular Pioneer wife.

My paternal grandmother was a Laycock ( there are 3 spellings ) although English ( Yorkshire )- some lived and raised families in Scotland. My dad told me that he had Scottish relatives, but  his younger sisters never knew that. My dad was in England during early WWII and visited relatives. There is a crest for the family.

Scotch is a whiskey that not all Scots like. Had a foreman, who's Scottish accent was so strong you could cut it with a knife, hated Scotch.

He loved a good Canadian Rye whiskey.

I took a drive from Southampton to Inverness in 4 days in 1998, and made it from Inverness back to Southampton on the 5th day via Ft Williams way only stopping to to rest a couple times. Left Inverness at 7 am arrived in Hythe at about 9:30 pm. Beautiful drive both ways. Friends were consulting with a local Bobby about my ‘missing’ status. I was unsuccessful in talking him out of his helmet. I could have moved to Scotland.

LAGAVULIN 16YR .750
Single Malt Scotch

Dark intense Lagavulin (named after the Gaelic Laggan Mhouillin, the hollow where the mill is) comes from a whitewashed jumble of buildings by the sea on Islays rocky southern shore. Founded in 1816, this is a great Islay malt. Pungent and potent, with richly peaty, deep, smoky flavor, it has an intense, long, ambrosial finish.

Someone saving it for the P & S. 😃

I thought alcoholic drinks like wine should be kept in the cellar or a dark cool place. Or alright, you're planning on finishing it tonight before the word gets around.
