This is where people have a misguided view of loving your animal. So many feel the leash is too restrictive. Having this dog on a leash would have prevented the problem in the first place. Pets aren’t allowed in the area at all according to the article.
We had an incident in the south a couple weeks ago of a bear going after a couple having a picnic. It was most likely instigated and or aggravated by their dog barking and getting close to the bear. They did not have their dog on a leash which is against the law.

Many people do think before they react. It is good to note for those who use Fahrenheit that 93°C is 200°F - why did she have a dog there in the first place :wall:

Had they paid attention to park rules this would not have happened.

Dogs are family members. When you hear or see them in pain, for animal lovers there instinct is to help.

They shouldn’t do so at the risk of getting themselves killed, however. Human life is far more valuable than that of a dog’s.

Dogs are aren’t human family members, they’re just pets

Leviticus 19:18: “‘You must not take vengeance nor hold a grudge against the sons of your people, and you must love your fellow man as yourself.”

I’m not complaining, but I am currently making a living in Pet Care.

I walk dogs, do daily visits and overnight sitting. People pay me MORE money to take care of their pets than I would taking care of CHILDREN or even my last bookkeeping job.

Have you seen Duncanlouwho on Instagram? It is worth seeing him in action.
