I have always loved the topic of “this generation “ i find it exciting and motivating. Few times ,in fact time to time a quick whiteboarding appears in my brain , trying to figure out things with numbers that aren’t fixed :) I never really get the same result. Whenever we talk about it among us , someone always say that “ it will come in time, soon ,so keep focusing on that! “ 

this drawing from the kingdom rules book always put my mind back on track . 
it helps me to see clearly that no matter how old we are , we have a good chance of entering the new world without having to ever die. Since creation who could have ever said that with certainty? What an exciting time we live in ! And it is the memorial season as well! Keeping busy makes the time go faster! And I am not talking about the clock change tomorrow!😁

This version of the graphic visual aid shows a more substantial overlap than the one Br. Slane used.

Although there is a third group of anointed (and I wonder if some of the recent additions to the GB are from the third group?), it's this older, second group that will "by no means pass away until all these things happen".

 

It seems pretty clear this topic was on the minds of the GB because this graphic came out in 2014 and the topic was featured in the September 2015 broadcast and that was followed with Br. Flodin's morning worship later in 2015.

That's a lot of attention paid to the topic.

 

The explanation seems to work in this instance. But it's not always correct to say that overlapping lives can be counted as the same generation.  Take Shem and Abram, for example. Their lives overlapped for at least 10 years or more. Does anyone think those two were of the same generation?

And then the wrath of the KOTS came.. and huge tariffs were introduced on Russian donuts and chocolate.

All Russian northern donut and chocolate factories ceased production.

Their sweet-toothed customers were left to revolt! The KOTN's coffee breaks were ruined, his snacks were no more.

These reports form the north enraged the KOTN and he came to his end. LOL :lol1:

It's 5 days before my birthday.    

 

Just received the Memorial assignments. I'm in parking, which means it will snow.

Haha nice! I have the privilege to help serve during the Memorial. Hope everyone has a great rest of the campaign and Memorial!

I've pretty much come to that conclusion as well. Just thinking about it for a few minutes makes me feel violated (a little bit.) My brain needs a good wash when that happens.

Not that it matters, and this is off-topic, but...

 

To understand the difference between liberal and conservative, think about spreading butter or spending money. 

 

If a person puts tons of butter on their bread or toast or whatever, they are described as applying the butter liberally. On the other hand, if they are very careful and barely use any butter, they are being conservative with it. They are conserving their butter. 

 

Same with money. A person who spends money like it is no object is liberally spreading their money. Someone that scrimps and saves and never spends a dime is conservative with their money. 

 

A politically liberal person wants to spread government agencies and support all over as far and as wide as they can go and wants as many people as possible to qualify for those benefits no matter the cost. A politically conservative person wants to limit those resources as much as possible and believes they should be spread only on what is absolutely needed. People who need assistance should turn to organizations and agencies other than government in order to find aid. 

 

It's helpful to know what conservatives and liberals care about in a general sense as this helps us present Bible truths that appeal to them. A liberal will favor health care for all. Jehovah's Kingdom is the only government that can perfectly provide that universal heathcare for everyone. A conservative hates government waste. Jehovah's Kingdom is the only government that will eliminate government waste and overspending. 

 

Ironically, however, liberals give lip service to environmental causes (conservation) whereas conservatives favor exploiting resources. 

 

Another irony is liberals are pro-abortion but against the death penalty while conservatives want to ban abortion but favor the death penalty. 

 

Now back to the show

Off-topic: With all this tariff trade war stuff, investors are hedging to gold for stability. XAUUSD is trading at over $3100/ounce. If you have any gold you don't mind selling, I don't know maybe it'll give you a little "peace" to your financial "security" temporarily. 

 

I guess nobody wanted to hedge into BTC(Bitcoin). Smart. Very smart.
