A quick look at the headlines shows just how insane the world we live in has become (all from BBC - https://www.bbc.com/😞

1. Austrian school gunman who killed nine was 21-year-old former pupil, officials say
Six females and three males are among the dead, the interior minister says, after a local man opened fire in a secondary school in Graz.

2. UK sanctions far-right Israeli ministers for 'inciting violence' against Palestinians
Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich will both face a travel ban, the UK says.

3. Middle East
Greta Thunberg deported, Israel says, after Gaza aid boat intercepted

4. RFK Jr sacks entire US vaccine committee

5. Trump says LA would be 'burning to the ground' without troop deployment
California Governor Gavin Newsom blasts the federal government's response to anti-immigration raid protests as "purposefully inflammatory".

Even the book section:

6. How being alone can make you happier
From spending time by yourself to making the most of being single, flying solo can be fulfilling – a philosophy championed by a new wave of books.

NOTE: that picture is the cover of Frankenstein!

The world has gone to the monsters!!

 May the Kingdom come! And take full control to end the madness.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Yep. I am over all of it.
I feel like we are living in a B rated end of days movie where everything is just ridiculous and doesn’t seem believable.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

Maybe this question is off-topic, why US government raid migrants? Do they raid all migrants or undocumented migrants only?

The government is focused on removing undocumented criminal migrants.  These are people who may be associated with gangs, or who have robbed or sell illegal narcotics or any other crimes you can think of.  The media hardly mentions this, but the government explains that they are going after undocumented migrants with a criminal record if not active warrants for their arrest.

However, some migrants have been brought to the US as young children, or someone who has over stayed their visa. These may be caught up in the dragnet, but I don't think they are the governments primary focus at this time.

Yes right now there are protests in 16 cities but Saturday it will be over 1,800 protests. Look at this map on CNN

Saturday should be interesting for us then…we already are starting our shift at the SMPW carts the same time the pride parade will go marching by…🤪

I did a special event that involved Memorial Day with a branch of the military. It was very uncomfortable but if you can withstand something Patriotic for Jehovah. You can withstand a lot personally.

Personally,  I stay away from this. I can’t stand the look of it. Gross.

It’s definitely interesting. We did it a couple years ago. But that day several people who walked by thanked us for being there.

“that is what some of you were”. All need a chance to see, right?

We have a spot prime for all the parades. We did Christmas parade one year too.

Especially since we aren't there preaching anti-lgbt hate.  We offer refreshment.

We condemn homosexual conduct, but that's not the topic promoted by the carts

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Long as they didn't think we were there to support the march. Reminds me of the time I placed a magazine in Dec that had a Christmasy picture. The householder said "That will look great on my hall table. Just the right picture for the time of year!"

I seriously doubt they think we are there to support them. We are there 7 days a week.
But your story is pretty funny. lol

I will try to remember to share on the field ministry thread if anything interesting happens.

With these new updates in the understanding about those who accept the truth and repent during the great tribulation, do these people also include those who are removed? I ask this because in my understanding, when the slave speaks about this change in attitude, they are those who heard our message in these days and then during the signs of the great tribulation they remembered what we previously preached to them. But this does not cover those who are removed. We know that many of those removed recognize the truth, but chose to serve Satan's system. There are also those who are outside the organization, doing whatever they want, and decided to return to the organization when the message of peace and security is announced. In my opinion, it would be unfair to accept these types of people, removed, into our group of survivors during the Great Tribulation. And I think that specifically regarding those removed or those who know the truth, our understanding has not changed. Those who do not make an effort from now on will not be saved. What do you think? Does the new understanding cover everyone? Please help me understand this point better.

Yeah, same. Our artwork at the military event said "Peace-When?", so I don't think they assumed we were there for them. Based on the looks we got.

I think there'll be many "removed" who return when they see events unfold. Our attitude will be tested at that time. Will we show mercy or be hardhearted toward such ones, like the older brother of the "prodigal son" because we've been there all along.

It’s natural to worry about members of our family who have either fallen away or have been removed… If you didn’t worry then you would be a very hard hearted person!

I worry and I’m sure that others worry as well, we all hope that they will return to Jehovah …

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

We have to show love and respect and care to everyone. This is what Jesus Christ taught us to do in Matthew chapter 5.

(Matthew 5:46) 46 For if you love those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing?

(Matthew 5:47) 47 And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing?

President Donald Trump warned Thursday of the possibility of “massive conflict” in the Middle East that could take place “soon.”

US officials are increasingly concerned that the risk of Israel striking Iran has risen after Tehran said on Thursday that it would ramp up its nuclear activities due to the International Atomic Energy Agency passing a resolution saying that the country was not in compliance with its non-proliferation commitments, senior US officials told CNN.

Questioned about a potential strike on Thursday, Trump said it “could very well happen.”

“I don’t want to say imminent, but it’s something that could very well happen,” Trump told reporters at the White House.https://edition.cnn.com/2025/06/12/politics/trump-israel-iran-strike
