The world wants it, but they never achieve it.  To many of their own false prophets predicting things will come out all right.  Just in the day when Jeremiah lived.  False priests and prophets, lied to the people, but that was okay with them.  They got tired of listening to God's true spokes person of a incoming doom for their cities, their temple!  The temple became in their own minds and hearts a "goodluck charm" - The temple of Jehovah, said it 3 times.  All the while God asking them to come cleanse themselves , turn back from these evil deeds in thoughts, but these failed. Same today, in fulfillment of Mathew 24:14, we continue will those in opposition wull be remove forever.   That time is so close in our mear ibcomung future.  Yet people put trust in corrupt Politicians, their agendas.
