To me it strengthened the position the Bible said about the Last Days, that the 1914 war was just the beginning. It officially ended in 1918, but unofficially it never ended and bled into the next war, then the Cold War, Vietnam War, Kosovo, Iraq and on and on.

Also the guy in the lower right hand corner with his face turned away and red tie looks like david splane IMO. I know its not supposed to be him but it almost looks like they used him for the model.

Hate to say it but these documentaries are not new. I’ve seen them way before the pandemic on American Hero’s Channel. And there many of them and I enjoy them very much. Thanks for posting…

This just shows how far behind Canada is. A few months back we were leaving for our Wednesday night meeting and I flicked on the TV to defray any burglars. (you know how it is these days) That program had been playing during the meeting which I didn't know. When we got home, it was there but near the end of the show. Whoa! We now have it on-line for a few months. Unfortunately it is too long and gory but it does give the salient details. We are in the END TIMES!

Probably the new Syrian government will be more secular, they declare no mandatory hijabs etc,

"Christians are "our brothers who fought against Assad on our side.",

He declared normal relationship with Israel (as it helped to win by destroying Hesbollah).

Maybe this is one another step to P&S and other...

It won't be much longer, my dear Br Daniel. Courage ! We just have to wait for Jehovah's decision, no matter Russia, USA and NATO decide to do. The world makes a lot of noise, and everyone can hear bits and pieces of it. Personally I hear: Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock, it's time to let go of the winds.

UN has begun the process as of Sept 2024 after the nations signed "the pact for the future"  UN is to be the head of the

This was going to be my answer too. It's sudden. We too are going to be surprised by the suddenness. (Not by it happening as we know it's happening, but by how quickly everything happens).

 

This makes sense, a thought just popped into my mind, because we are told to be ready,  if it was going to be gradual process, we would have time to prepare during the GT.

Does anyone else feel bothered at this time of year? It feels like the end-of-year syndrome—people get restless, the world becomes hectic, and I feel stressed by the pressure all around. I get very uncomfortable during these festive seasons.

My dear Brother @Dhanyel, it is true that this period is very unpleasant to go through for some of us who are forced to endure the turmoil of this world. What can perhaps help is the extent to which Jehovah, for his part, does not like this period either. 

 

I really liked the article that follows on the home page on six customs linked to Christmas. The words are measured, delicate but firm, it is not there to make people feel guilty but just to explain why God cannot like this celebration.

 

We just have to pity these people who run behind the wind, they don't know what they are doing. Personally, this is what helps me to see January with all my brothers and sisters while leaving December to the world.

What gets me is how so many people in the world buckle under peer pressure. There’s many people who were raised in countries where  celebrating Christmas wasn’t part of their culture. Then they move to a “Christian” country and feel the need to do what everyone else is doing, even when it wasn’t originally a part of their culture. I just don’t get it.
