Peace and Security, Great Tribulation, Armageddon

I’m 68 yrs and never thought I would get to this age before the new world.  I have the usual ageing aches and pains and conditions and now wonder will I witness the end.  My mother who died 15 years ago thought she would see it.  Though all these weather changes happening gives me confidence it has to be close.  Our talk on the weekend highlighted 5 prophecies yet to be fulfilled, declaration of peace and security, fall of Babylon the Great, attack of Gog of Magog, Armageddon and then the new world.  It is now a watching and waiting game.  I’m watching and waiting.

True, however, once Jehovah puts into the hearts of the governments to give their authority to the "wild beast" UN, the rest is sure to follow.  The handing over of their authority is up to Jehovah.   He will put it into their hearts to do so.

In retrospect, once that happens we are home free.

Young people and elderly ones will pass into the new world with life. Do not lose hope, do not lose faith. Keep looking ahead, dear elderly brothers—the finish line is ahead.

This picture made me think about reality that some elderly will be so close to “death” and yet GT will “rescue them” from inevitable death. And young children will never taste old age… Amazing events are just ahead of us.

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Off topic from the previous conversation, but this is quite important. The president of United States of America, Donald Trump, has announced that he wishes to withdraw from the Untied Nations Human Rights Council due to “deep anti-American bias”...

This is interesting. I wonder just how far he will try and pull America.

Trump is a negotiator so there is probably some advantage to withdrawing and then negotiating a return.

I think the last two weeks has made clear that we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Everyday is something new.

I saw a reel on IG from a military guy who was asking for February to be precedented times. We've had enough unprecedented. LOL

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

If this ever came to be, I wonder if it would be a step forward to convince the world that 'peace & security' was being achieved.

Trump said that he has studied the conditions in Gaza “closely over a lot of months” and his idea to seize and develop it has gotten “tremendous” support from the “highest of leadership” as a viable plan to bring peace to the Middle East.

Just saw this too. It would seem that Trump & the UN are going to be very much in the news from now on...

Quote

Mr. Trump on Tuesday criticized the U.N. for what he described as its inability to resolve conflicts raging around the world — ones that he said his administration was trying to address. The U.N. has been widely rebuked for not fulfilling its mandate to mediate and uphold peace in parts of the world.

I give up, what is the plane? Can't be this system as Jehovah is definitely not piloting it. Can't be his organization on earth as it is not experiencing shaking.

Caught on Twitter a few minutes ago:

“The United States and Israel agree under President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to transform the Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East” — a historic and unprecedented move that will bring lasting peace and stability to the region. President Trump has made it clear: the United States sees a long-term ownership position in Gaza, ensuring its reconstruction into a thriving economic hub. "Everybody I've talked to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing it and creating thousands of jobs," Trump said. Its vision is to transform Gaza into a prosperous, safe and modern place where people from all over the world — including Palestinians — can live and work.

Rebuilding Gaza as it was is not just impractical—it is impossible. Decades of Hamas rule have turned it into a terrorist breeding ground, with deeply rooted radicalization and an infrastructure designed for war, not peace. Trump’s plan presents the only viable long-term solution: remove terrorist influence, clean up the dangerous remnants of war, and replace chaos with economic opportunity. Unlike the failed policies of the past, this approach prioritizes real investment, security and prosperity.

Trump's leadership is not just about military strategy — it's about building a future. His plan includes US-led efforts to dismantle all unexploded bombs and weapons, laying the groundwork for large-scale infrastructure projects, businesses and tourism. Instead of endless war and suffering, Gaza could become the Middle East’s leading economic and cultural destination — an international model for development.

The suffering of innocent Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023 must never be forgotten. Families were torn apart, civilians brutally attacked and entire communities traumatized. The world has seen the true nature of Hamas, and any future that allows its continued rule is unacceptable. Israel cannot be expected to live alongside a terrorist regime that has shown no interest in peace. A long-term solution must ensure Israel’s security while offering Palestinians a fresh start in a stable and prosperous environment.

The two-state solution has failed because it ignores reality. Unless there is a dramatic shift in ideology, peaceful coexistence remains a fantasy. There are more than 50 Muslim countries in the region — any of which could offer resettlement opportunities. But Gaza itself can become a symbol of peace and progress if it is managed correctly.

Trump's vision is bold, but it is also necessary. Weak globalists have allowed this crisis to fester for too long. Now, with real leadership, a path forward is possible — one that prioritizes security, economic development, and a future free from terrorism. Under Trump, the cycle of war ends and a new era begins.“

*** w19 January pp. 4-5 par. 10 “Do Not Be Anxious, for I Am Your God” ***
10 Consider this illustration: Two passengers, Jim and Ben, are on an airplane that is being rocked by strong winds. As the plane lurches up and down, a voice comes over the loudspeaker: “Keep your seat belts fastened. We will be flying through turbulence for some time.” Jim becomes very worried. But then the pilot adds: “Do not be anxious. This is your pilot speaking.” At that point, Jim shakes his head, saying, “What kind of assurance is that?” He notices, though, that Ben does not look anxious at all. Jim asks him: “Why are you so calm?” Ben smiles and says: “Because I know this pilot very well. He is my father!” Then Ben says: “Let me tell you about my father. I’m sure that when you know him and his abilities, you too will be calm.”

Just a friendly reminder:

While we may find…interesting, some of the things that the President says or does, we need to remember that he IS the president and does deserve respect, as part of the “superior authorities”, regardless of what we may personally think about him.

Not saying this to or about anybody in particular, or directing this to anyone, but I wonder if going down the well-trodden path of publicizing Caesar’s blunders here, could be construed as affecting our neutrality.

Just a concern I wanted to bring up…

That's all.

The plane is our journey through life. The turbulence around the plane is this system of things. Jehovah is the pilot.
