Peace and Security, Great Tribulation, Armageddon

Recommended Posts

Simple and to the point - excellent!!

Would God permit nuclear war?

The Bible does not say. It does say that “fearful sights,” or terrifying events, would occur in our day. (Luke 21:11) An example of such events includes atomic bombs being dropped during the Second World War. The Bible explains why God has permitted wars. To learn more, watch the video Why Does God Allow Suffering?

 Will planet Earth survive?

Yes. Even if man were to use nuclear weapons again, God would not allow the situation to escalate to the point of global annihilation. The Bible says that our planet will not only survive threats to its existence but will also host human life forever.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Though today’s warheads are vastly more powerful, I was struck by something: the total destruction caused by the bombs dropped on Japan maxed out at around 3 square miles each.

Of course, the suffering extended well beyond that radius—but in terms of actual flattening? That was the scope.

Now, the zone of destruction today might be 8 or even 10 square miles, but honestly… if you’re standing in it, you’re not exactly comparing stats. Whether it’s a little crater or a big one, you’re still part of the before-and-after photo.

But the bigger point? We’re not living in fear of those miles. Not anymore. We’re living for the eternity beyond them.

Impossible, we are scattered around the world, and unarmed. Simple gun is enough to kill us all :) Or is it? :whistling:

I am not saying nukes will be used against us, but different forms of attack could be deployed in various places… no doubt it’s going to be very interesting to see how Gog will try to synchronise this and how it leads to Armageddon.

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)
