Utah becomes first state to ban LGBTQ+ pride flags in government buildings and schools

Utah鈥檚 flag law goes further than one signed last week in Idaho that only applies to schools.

I was going to say based Utah but that wouldn't be neutral

Did you overlook where the article also mentioned Idaho?聽 I wasn't planning on listing every state or municipality. I was only showing some places are restricting the LGBT flag from government buildings.聽

These easy and delicious Funeral Potatoes (also called cheesy potatoes) are a cheesy hash brown casserole that makes the perfect warm side dish for any meal, holiday dinner, or potluck.

Italy is about to join France, Austria, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands and ban the Muslim burka and niqab聽

in public places.

But Italy goes further.聽 The proposed law introduces penalties for "cultural crimes" including virginity tests and raises the maximum penalty for forced marriages to 10 years in prison.

An interesting statement made ~聽 "The spread of Islamic fundamentalism .聽 .聽 聽.聽 聽undeniably constitutes the breeding ground for Islamic terrorism".

I'd like to know the reasoning. Beyond religious discrimination, that is.聽

At the risk of my neutrality, the fact this is even proposed is "evidence" that Europeans are hypocritical when they point fingers at the United States and claim or imply they are more open-minded, welcoming, and less bigoted than the US.聽

A little background聽 聽.聽 聽 .聽 聽the ruling party in Italy is Fratelli d'Italia (Brothers of Italy) led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, a national-conservative and right-wing populist.聽 She advocates for "God, fatherland, family".

The Council on American-Islamic Relations condemns the proposed law.

A similar law was passed by the Parliament in 2011 but was not codified by the Berlusconi administration.

The virginity tests and forced marriages are viewed as "religious coercion".

And, as mentioned, Italy considers Islamic fundamentalism a breeding ground for terrorism.聽 So, the proposed law probably falls under "national security".

the episode has damaged public trust in NHS communications, with critics questioning whether fear of accusations of cultural insensitivity led officials to compromise medical messaging.

the British authorities have left muslim pedophile gangs rape little girls and did nothing for decades out of fear of being called racist, so it's not surprising
