The whole mystery of all these drone sightings (especially) in recent weeks in the U.S. is sure causing people to question things.   They appear to be fairly sophisticated and a bit larger, some speculate.    Multiple states reporting so not sure what this is all about or who is behind it all.

Has anyone else in other countries had a bunch of drones in the news lately?

The most plausible explanation for the drones I heard from a CEO that supplies them to the military.

Drones can't see anything at night unless they have thermals. However, they can be used to sniff some things out (like gas leaks or radiation)

He suspects that they're looking for dirty bombs or a lost nuclear warhead (apparently some went missing on the other side of the world a few years ago) and there may be credible Intel that it made it's way into the US. And the gov is looking for it, but doesn't want to alarm the public...

Just a theory. But obviously they're up there doing something....

Whereas the most plausible theories I heard are either foreign incursions from a country with resources like China or Russia.  Or it could be a pro-US organization hired to test US military responses to such a potential threat.

They shut down the airspace around Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio because of a drone incident this past Friday

This is a good video analyzing the progression of psyops. The focus isn't on whether or not it's "true", but how to analyze the situation and view it with a critical eye. At 8:14 he mentions how this could lead to the UN getting power, which is why I'm posting this (it's less than a minute total).

We all know the US government has become very UFO-centric lately, which could be viewed as suspicious. 🤔 Basically, if the governments decided to fake alien "incidents" in multiple places they might convince enough people to be afraid that they will willingly hand over power to the governments (UN) to "save" them. It's worth a listen.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is what I think is going to happen; it's just an interesting possibility.

I dunno about that one.  I saw video of how fast the government takes down drones that try to enter Area 51.  The US usually doesn't play around when it comes to military stuffs.

Agreed. I think I saw the same video as you from the CEO that supplies them to the military. He outlined clearly that these kind of drones definitely are not from off shore. They do not have the power to come in land, do whatever they are doing and head back to base. He said they are definitely launched from a base relatively near where they are being spotted.

I've looked at several of the pictures and many of them look like helicopters.

Look at this one from FoxNews ( https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-jersey-pilot-lost-control-after-encounter-unidentified-drone-report )

That is CLEARLY a helicopter. I sure hope people don't think it is OK to start shooting at these things

Too often people WANT a conspircay when there isn't one.

They have been reported as being seen over three US airbases here in the east of the UK - RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk.

How long did it take to shoot down that Chinese "weather balloon"?

There are laws in place that prohibits the US military from engaging in armed response in civilian territory without authorization from Congress. The only exception is immediate and imminent threat.

Yes, the military has more latitude when operating in the bounds of a military base.

So, if the drones had bombs or guns, then they could be shot down. Since they don't, the military needs authorization before acting.

The drones (with alternating colored - red and blue lights) are clearly man made, but there are other things in the sky that some are calling Plasmoids that behave as if they have intelligence, operate at far faster speeds, and cannot be destroyed through conventional means (or any that we know of).

I have a bunch of theories that I might expand on later.

In a joint statement, the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, FAA and Defense Department said they examined the notable leads from the more than 5,000 reported drone sightings and determined “the sightings to date” are a “combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and stars mistakenly reported as drones.”

Simple answers are usually the right ones.

Having closely examined the technical data and tips from concerned citizens, we assess that the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and stars mistakenly reported as drones. We HAVE NOT identified anything anomalous and do not assess the activity to date to present a national security or public safety risk over the civilian airspace in New Jersey or other states in the northeast.

Oh, need to fix my location.  I imagine there are not a lot of drones over the mostly restricted airspace where I lived in MD.   Flight path to Camp David was right above

my back yard.  I would wave to the black helicopters while I was hanging laundry to dry.
