Meeting workbooks January- February 2024

We should soon receive the January-February 2024 meeting workbook. Do you think there will be any small changes? Maybe new suggestions for presentations?

I wonder if they’ll schedule GB updates rather than having to cancel and rearrange other items in order to play the update during the meeting.

 

it would be nice to have some new sample conversation topics, we’ve had the same handful quite a few times now.

The cover is slightly different

The new cover design sure hints for an updated layout overall. It also proves to be more appropriate and inclusive for languages that have the words "Meeting Workbook" before "Our Christian Life and Ministry".

Might learn of the changes at the annual meeting next month or in the next GB Update.

Hmmm... Did anyone else saw that after the annual meeting no one brought up the subject again? It might be me being crazy, but I think the changes to the mwb cover were explained at that meeting... 🤔

We don't know... but we'll find out soon. However, there was no discussion about the cover per se during the annual meeting program.

Probrably the MWB is being retained till we receive the new instructions inted by the breaking news. That new MWB must bring parts havinf to do with that

All will be revealed on Nov 6/7. 

 

The 2024 MWB was briefly discussed at the AM.

What surprises you, Br. Alejandro?  The lack of the Jan/Fed workbook release or lack of information about the cover changes (which, by the way, I don't think are that important)?  Or is it something else?

Br. Cook gave us his talk in the Broadcast on Nov 2nd about the "Good News and the Judgement" message.  A few days later, we had the Annual Meeting on Nov 7th and many things (confidential and public) were shared with future ramifications.  Before the final "Amen" was prayed we had a world-wide announcement posted on JW.ORG about not reporting service time in the future.  The brothers posted comments and question all over (including this forum).  Did you notice...a new world record was set on the number of those online here at one time (915) was set just 18 hours ago,

 

Then we had the announcement letter read twice at our meetings in the last 2 weeks.  It announced we would begin these changes NOW in October.  They tell us 'More to come' in the Nov 6th Broadcast.  I am in the middle of my CO visit.  We have had a rainy week.  I took yesterday off (Saturday field service) because I wanted to go the Circuit Assembly in the next circuit to my west.  My family, Daughter, Son-in-law and Granddaughter all had parts in the program.  It was the first time on the circuit stage for my granddaughter who is 12.  We made the 2 1/2 hour trip up and 2 1/2 hour trip back and got home about 9 pm.  Now we are going to catch the CO's final day with us tomorrow.  We are checking with several brothers to see if we can get new MS and Elders tomorrow.

 

On Wednesday, 8 members of my family will be going to Warwick to take an official tour which requires a 12-13 hour drive in two vehicles to New York.  When we get back, is it time to rest?  No...Then we have the Nov 6th broadcast and possible AM revelations in 8 days after we return.

 

Yes, Dusty, I could use some sleep.  But these are great and momentous times in which we live.  Stay on the watch...❤️

Yes, very soon now. Most likely on Monday 6th.
Usually the Workbooks are made available 3 months prior to being needed for student assignments to be issued in good time by the Life and Ministry Meeting overseer. Naturally the time lest is reduced.

The link I have posted is to a publication that has been on the web since Last Updated: 2022-09-30, therefore it is not a new publication.  And it corresponds to the publication of JANUARY-FEBRUARY 2023. I have seen that others have links to publications that can be seen on the web.  So I don't understand why this link to a publication that has been on the web for more than 1 year cannot be published.

Your link that starts out with https://www.jw.org/download/?issue=202401 has NOT been up for a year. 2024 is new.

 

This is the issue often with URLs - the display text is one thing, but the link is something else.
