I’m thinking of revising the contents of my ministry/service bag… and I’m just wondering how your bags are looking these days?

 

 Have you paired right down and only carry a tablet…. ? 
 

Is your bag stuffed to the brim with every conceivable item? … 

 

Just how heavy is your bag these days?

I don’t take a bag most days. Now we’re starting conversations rather than just placing literature I tend to just use my phone or IPad and have contact cards in my pocket. 
 

If I think of a particular publication that the householder might be interested in I arrange to call back and bring it to them. Then I’ve got a return visit to go back on

We are seeking to blend in more, whilst still carrying out our ministry, and our genuine, polite, friendly conversation is what we hope will reach people. It seems to me better to just have mobile technology (in my case iPhone), for H2H or public ministry with JW.ORG cards and some tracts in pockets, and iPad for bible studies.

 

We can travel super light these days but still have everything with us.

We recently had our CO visit.  He told us since we still have piles of old mags (ones with dates), he encouraged us to leave in some not at homes.  I had been taken only my phone and cards.  Now I'm trying to figure out how to discreetly take a few old mags with me. (My purse is too small to out any in).  Any suggestions?

I rarely carry my bag anymore. I have several tracts in an envelope and have that in my pocket with my phone.

Here is a clip from a recent video talking about our field ministry.  The sister has a folder or 'day-planner' size binder that holds her material.  She does not seem to have even a separate purse.
