The UN literally gets its power from Satan. It's in Revelation. But, I'm sure that despite that fact, they'd never lie to us.

While this is ultimately correct, it's interesting that we are still to have respect for the government. Don't put our trust in them, but respect them nonetheless. What an odd contradiction.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Perhaps. Personally, it's not difficult for me to respect anything. Trusting, however, is a whole 'nother level. Respect doesn't have to be emotional. Trust always is.

For me, anyway..

Government as a whole is under satans control. But I think we can all acknowledge that many parts of government protect people. Not only health services, but roadways, police, environmental etc are all there to make things safe.
I like to think of much of it as we are told to think about people. Try to see what good they are trying to accomplish.  If we look for bad motives, we are sure to find something that fits our preconceived notions.
I don’t dispute that corruption happens or just imperfections because mankind doesn’t always know what they think they know, but I don’t think we can “demonize” services just because of those bad things. The majority of what is provided is of benefit or at the very least has good intentions.
In this system we many times have to take some bad with the good. Soon it will all be good. That’s only possible under Gods government. 😊

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

I agree with that sentiment. I don't expect everyone else to have the same view as myself, but I tend to respect what political organizations say and do when it comes to politics and legislation, but when they declare things that go beyond the purview of politics, then I will assume that they're taking a stance on things for political reasons. I generally err in that direction. When it comes to my healthcare decisions, I prefer to seek advice or discuss risks and benefits from healthcare professionals or seek information from medical or scientific studies, myself.
