US Election Outcome

Recommended Posts

Actually, I'm glad Mr.Trump won.....

But I would have been just as glad if Mrs.Harris had won..

It just means one more day behind us, and one more day closer to being done with this stinking, corrupt satanic system....

And that's all I've got to say about that....

So I too, would be careful about making comments about individual politicians/kings or leaders.

There is a difference between making a blanket comment about politics as a whole and a personal attack though.

I didn’t make any personal attack or express a political opinion. I only said facts.

We live in a crazy world! We know that the Bible prophesied that Babylon the Great would form alliances with world governments, and we see it happening in a very obvious way right now in the U.S. It DOES NOT mean we align ourselves with any other party or government, stop paying taxes, or go out and protest. Being neutral means we can observe political events and governments from the Bible’s perspective. If anyone feels defensive about this observation being made in reference to the U.S. president-elect, that may signal a need to readjust one’s neutrality.

Never said you did my dear. If you read my post, it was an extension of your post ... was not in disagreement or accusatory.

I am only offering my view on his  competence to govern in this system vs Harris

Which, by definition, is not neutral. As Christians, why would we have views on which political entity is competent/incompetent to govern?

The reality is they are all incompetent.

(Jeremiah 10:23) 23 I well know, O Jehovah, that man’s way does not belong to him.

It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.bring salvation.+

(Psalm 146:3, 4) 3 Do not put your trust in princes
Nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation.

His spirit* goes out, he returns to the ground;+

On that very day his thoughts perish.+

Do not trust politicians. It is not their place to rule anyone. By choosing to be an elected official these people are stealing what does not belong to them. They are not competent to direct their own lives, let alone anyone else.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Whereas we respect the office of president, as a superior authority, it does not mean we need respect the man.

I have zero respect for the man but once he is sworn in he is to me Mister President.

I am not sying I am Superman, I am only saying that nobody has ever seen Superman  and me in a room together.

So rather than sitting around flinging poo. I'm interested in how we all are actually going to fight this?

Me? This one is touchy for me! And I guarantee 80% of the US members on this forum do it. Eat 80% of their diet in ultra processed foods and avoid dairy, meat, and butter. Something most of the world does not do.

And that's a hot topic right now. RK is pushing my very diet or close to it. I have to watch who I recommend for people to read and watch so they don't get sucked into the belief of this. I have to watch how much I say period. I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate this.

Edit

I say this because literally every influencer or doctor I've recommended I've had to unfollow or not share because it got to be too much.

We are told to show respect for all people.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

In the communities in which they live and work, Jehovah’s Witnesses promote respect for others.

We offer free Bible instruction to all people, but we do not force our beliefs or opinions on others. Rather, we try to apply the Bible’s counsel by sharing our message “with a mild temper and deep respect.”—1 Peter 3:15; 2 Timothy 2:24.

The nutritionists and dietitians that tell our friends that have heart disease and diabetes to continue eating refined wheat, Splenda, and Nature Valley bars! Oh and get some overpriced oatmilk (.11oz/oats, water, and a blender + strain 🤷‍♂️), plant meat, and modified starch and oil vegan butter.

Thank God chocolate was not in this category.

Thrive Market if you have it has a 3 ingredient chocolate chunks. Organic Cacao Beans, Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Cocoa Butter. That's it. It's OK-ish by itself but throw in good quality milk powder and Madagascar vanilla bean powder in a double boiler then in some molds to cool. I love it.  I do have Ugandan, Tahitian, and Ecuadorian vanilla bean powder out for delivery. I want to see how that changes the chocolate.

I think in the USA we've lived on extracts/flavors of Vanilla and have not really used true vanilla bean pods and their seeds or just dried vanilla beans ground up. The richness and love from vanilla is almost pagan to call vanilla... "plain".

What does this have to do with the US election or who the president is?

Confused Joe Biden GIF by CBS News

Great and perfect meme for my point! Why? Did he care to sell a Bible stuffed with government documents? Did anyones health improve the last 4 years? So personally, the outcome of the US Election and the resulting policy for day 1 is very relevant because that is what's getting pushed January 20th my brother. How did he win otherwise?

I'm personally not prepared for a let's compare our Bible presentations just yet. Is anyone else?

I can't see why it matters one ounce? Or gram for us kiwis.

No-ones overall health is going to improve with any government except Jehovahs.

If we focus on the subjects that may or may not get worse based on who was voted in, this thread will become the new 'random' thread.

I don't understand why health is a topic in this thread.

You actually took the time to look this up sister. Thank you. Believe me. It's appreciate ones that do this. And if you did further research you'll see who he is replacing under the current administration. I suggest you look if you haven't. And the issue gets even worse.

That sounds yucky. None of that is a problem for me, but people should eat what they want 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'll pass on that thanks Chuck, my trust is in Jehovahs kingdom. Time to exit this thread I think.
