JW Broadcasting—November 2024

Recommended Posts

One week to go before we have a brand new monthly broadcast! What is it going to be this time? (the topic) Last year, the November broadcast was part 1 of the Annual Meeting, and December was the Gilead graduation. However, this year we've already been told that in December and January we can expect the Annual Meeting. So what's left? Are we having a Gilead graduation this time? Who will be our host? (not likely the host will be a new GB member; it's too early)

Any other baseless speculations or independent thoughts?

I also thought that this year November and December will be the annual meeting and the Gilead graduation in January, but I believe it will probably be the same as it was before, in December Gilead and in January and February annual meeting.

One thing I'm sure of, or almost sure of, is that we'll go three months without new music.

I think that will be a new member of the governing body.
When the last members were introduced the following month, one of them was the host.

Unlikely. Monthly broadcasts are recorded several months in advance. I'm not sure of the program you're referring to. Perhaps you could clarify? Neither of the two newest GB members have ever hosted anything yet.

Whicjever month (months?) present the AM the host will obviously be Gage Fleegle.  If the November broadcast is about the Gilead Graduation, just ask the brothers who saw the program.

If November broadcast is a 'stand-alone' program...I don't know.

It's definitely possible as helpers (now GB members) to simply introduce/closeout the Gilead program or annual meeting part 1 or 2 that takes the otherwise regular jw broadcasting spot.

Foi anunciada a reunião anual ao vivo que a reunião anual seria apresentada nas atualizações de novembro e dezembro.

Eu não sabia dessa informação.😮

Was it just me who didn't know this?🤔

I thought he said November and December are the annual meeting broadcasts? I can swear that I heard those months, not January.

It was transferred live from Gage Fleegle's lips.  Maybe wishful thinking?

EDIT: Don't worry, you can find out in three days...😁

Some of the comments above are not quite what was said.  Here is the actual words from the transcript I have and checked against my notes.  This is Br. Gage Fleegle speaking...

Yes. @Hope reports exactly that! And also, I watched the AM program, and that's what my notes say.

After most Annual Meetings, the publishers in my congregation used to ask if I had anything to share or any tid bits of interest and so on.  In some of the years past we had talks or multiple talks that we were asked to keep confidential.  This year, none of the above.  We were told we could talk about all of it.  No posting of notes, no audio or video recording but free conversation was allowed or even encouraged.

This year, no one ever asked me anything.  We will all see it together in a few weeks...😁

I can't understand that!

The "angels are desiring to peer", we lowly humans are the same. We soak up gratefully whatever we can get our hands on.

Nothing bad can last forever!
