Age-what is its significance?

Recommended Posts

So I'm gonna be 36 by next week, please dont wish me HBD 😂

honestly I can't believe how quickly time flies.I can vividly still remember when I was 13yo and it feels like just yesterday.

so am already looking at 40 at the horizon and it is staring at me in the face, before you know it I will be hitting 40, hopefully it will be in my new apartment in the new world.

it feels just like tomorrow to me.

so I'm just wondering ,what really is the significance of age? Is it just a number like some people say or is there something significant about it.

Try not to think about it too much. One thing I've noticed is that the more you think about how old you're getting, the more time seems to go by more quickly! It looks like I'm just a tad older than twice your age, and it's like it was a long time ago that I got baptized. Yet I was a little younger than you are now when I was immersed. Yeah. It's only a number. Serve our eternal maker with all you've got as long as you can still think about how old you are.

Age is a matter of the mind. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter! :uhhuh:

Listen to this song that describes one way we can view time. I love it!

"The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I thought I knew, I'm learning again" --- Don Henley

Definitely significant, the older you become the less donuts your body can "afford"

I would start panicking if I were you ... LOL 🤣🤣🤣:lol1:

Once I got old enough to think for myself 🤔 I figured this out:

Donuts are to Greg @New World Explorer

as Chocolates are to Glenn @Dustparticle

as fish is to Amanda @Ahuvah.

So in short, we never really grow UP, we just grow OLDER. But we are young in our minds.

My mind keeps telling me I can still do the things I did when I was your age but my body says, "No you Can't !!!"

Not only am I, like @Sheep , I have been married longer than the age you said is staring you in the face ... enjoy your youth, you are only the age you are now once

Do Klingons age the same though?

Surely all of Jehovah's people are like Klingon's? and we will become ageless (Deut 10:20; Ps119:31; Rom 12:9)

Klingons grow old. Not sure they'd be familiar with those scriptures.  😄 🤣
