Personally, since he walked away from the Truth, I am not interested in watching a movie made by a worldly person about his life ...

I did watch the movie about Margaret Keane

There was one about Margaret Keane? Would that be Big Eyes?

I would have loved that scene

I actually saw the movie yesterday and throughly enjoyed it. We grew up listening to Michael and the Jackson 5. We also listened to the Osmond's! I saw nothing wrong in watching the movie and I try to be very unbiased with entertainers and what they do in their leisure time, listening to Michael was no different than me listening to Elton John, and he’s openly gay, or Johnny Cash who’s songs centered around drinking, cheating and adultery.

My wife was in same district as the Jackson's when young and attended same conventions. His older sister and mother ( haven't heard of her dying yet not that means anything but oldest brother died this past week ) are still serving Jehovah.

Just to be clear ... I did not say it is wrong to see this movie. I just said I had no desire to see it. I did not listen to Michael's music when he was popular - I didn't listen to Elton John, either. I didn't listen to Tom Petty, and I went to High School with him.

That just isn't my style of music.

I don't know if he worked with his mother in the ministry.  But, his brother-in-law, Nate Brown, was an elder in my congregation in the early '80's.  Nate did get Michael out in service.  There's a story that a young woman wearing a Michael Jackson tee-shirt answered the door but wasn't interested !     :S

Nate (Nathaniel) was married to the first-born daughter, Rebbie (Ree-Bee) and they were pioneers in Tennessee. He supported his family as a driving instructor. When Michael's career caught fire, they came back to So. California.

I remember one Circuit Assembly that Michael attended at the Woodland Hills Assembly Hall (20600 Ventura Blvd.)  He was easy to see in the red shirt !

There was a moment in the film where they were lying on the couch with their mother wearing exactly these clothes, most likely after a meeting or service.

Once when Michael Jackson was performing in Birmingham, Alabama, he went out in the Field Ministry door-to-door.  One radio personality mentioned it and remarked that some people who said they weren't interested might not even have realized that Michael Jackson was standing at their door.  MJ later left the Witnesses.

One man has claimed that he was a victim of Michael Jackson after MJ left the witnesses.  He said tha Michael Jackson was worse than Jeffrey Epstein.  Jeffrey Epstein preferred 14-year-old girls, although 13-year-old girls were included.  Michael Jackson's victims were 11-year-old boys.  I am not saying that any of this is true.  That is what one man who said he was a victim of Michael Jackson claimed was tue.

I have listened to a lot of different kinds of music.  My wife won't listen to anything except Kingdom songs.

EDIT:  I sometimes compare Michael Jackson with Prince.  Prince was called the "bad boy of Rock and Roll" before he studeied with the Witnesses but cleaned up after his study.  Michael Jackson was raised by a Witness mother and an adulterous father but later left the Witnesses and did some terrible things.

Was MJ ever been baptized? Or just a publisher ?
