This Governing Body Update shares encouraging reports from different parts of the world. It highlights the ongoing convention season, suggestions for the ministry, and recent visits made to support branch territories and congregations.

The update also briefly covers how brothers and sisters are being helped during difficult situations, including disasters, health emergencies, and legal challenges affecting freedom of worship. We lost important rights that are given to the other religious communities in Norway.

How has this affected our brothers and sisters?
One example is weddings.

For the past four years or so, couples could not get married in the Kingdom Hall or have one of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiate their wedding.

We were so happy that on April 30, 2026, the Supreme Court of Norway announced that the government’s actions were illegal when they took away our registration and revoked our rights.
