Overview:

Spoiler

This Governing Body Update shares encouraging reports from different parts of the world. It highlights the ongoing convention season, suggestions for the ministry, and recent visits made to support branch territories and congregations.

The update also briefly covers how brothers and sisters are being helped during difficult situations, including disasters, health emergencies, and legal challenges affecting freedom of worship. It ends with warm encouragement for older ones and a reminder to keep praying for those in authority.

I wonder where the chocolate Bro. @Dustparticle eats comes from—the kind that lets him predict even the name of the GB's brother. I want to eat some too.

I'm not a Chocolate Prophet, yet I float into space at times (different galaxies) when I OD too. I have trillions of galaxies more to go. The life I go through. Don't have it!!!

I expect a very "vanilla" update with just news about our people, convention stuff and legal victory stories.

'In this update, we share encouraging reports about recent branch and shepherding visits. We also consider legal developments affecting our freedom of worship in Norway and Sweden."

We lost important rights that are given to the other religious communities in Norway.

How has this affected our brothers and sisters?
One example is weddings.

For the past four years or so, couples could not get married in the Kingdom Hall or have one of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiate their wedding.

We were so happy that on April 30, 2026, the Supreme Court of Norway announced that the government’s actions were illegal when they took away our registration and revoked our rights.
