Sadly my beloved fell & broke her hip on January 1st, and while the bloodless surgery went very well, and she had no illnesses or other critical conditions, she was frail and did not have the not have the depth of health & body reserves to allow her to recover. She passed away with her daughters by her side on Wednesday January 5, 2023 at about 6:30 am pacific time.
 
A memorial will be held on January 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm, with a video program beginning about 2:45 pm

Sad day for my neighborhood. Fire broke out in a home, rescue tried to get the 15 year old daughter out of a window but she couldn’t do it. Overcome by smoke. The father is in hospital. Our brother, Chuck, lives next door, saw the whole thing during meeting this morning. So sad, look forward to the resurrection. 

I love the source of life, so I got my booster 😉

I was pretty perturbed and angry yesterday how certain low-lifes try to cause problems for Jehovah’s people. Then these thoughts came up in this week’s congregation Bible reading material as a timely reminder. I react strongly to injustices, both perceived and real, and sometimes it is difficult to remember that Jehovah will take care of things in his own time.

Full vaxxed now... let's see how the week-end will be  

For all those who stand up for the downtrodden, to those who help the  misunderstood, to those who comfort the lonely, for those who give aid to the widow and the fatherless boy and those who have no helper, Jehovah is proud of you for having such a big heart and showing loving kindness. Well done to all of you for not turning your backs on those in need.

Was assaulted yesterday, punched 5-6 times in the head by violent neighbour. Still shaken.  Need prayers.

Pfizer shot for me and my wife this Saturday, bit scared but happy that we finally made a decision. 

I am scheduled for cataract surgery in 12 days, and I am not vaccinated because of various health issues. So with the upsurge of the variant cases and deaths I am a little nervous and worried. I know the facilities say they are very careful to keep their places clean but I am still not very confident because it's such a close and personal contact with the doctor and nurses there, and my immune system and age.
I'm trying to decide whether to take a chance with the vaccination or canceling the surgery, but I really need it to be done. 
I have read everything possible about the pros and cons but it still seems to be as uncertain as it was in the beginning..the conclusion I always end up with is, it's my decision...🤔Has anyone in my same age group (elder) health issues and unvaccinated had this surgery during this pandemic that can give me some confidence in one direction or the other. . . .
