How I Found the Truth

  • How I found the Truth
My mum and dad started to study when i was 10 and then got baptised when i was 11. I saw the change the truth had made to our very unhappy life as kids and it was a lovely change. Got baptised when i was 21. Married a brother in the truth and had 3 beautiful children which i brought up in the truth, my husband had a drinking problem that eventuated in dis-fellowshiping twice. In the end he wouldn't come back and started smoking and drinking into a drunk state every night. I finally couldn't live any longer in this way and me and the kids left after 22 yrs of marriage. Now i didn't rely on Jehovah and had a breakdown, ended up talking to a man that kept me sain, but i was unhappy and disassociated myself. My ex became violent and this resorted to my children getting retraining orders .. I eventually was divorced after trying to make my marriage work. He didnt want too. (very sad) he moved in with a lady and i and my children were picked up and looked after by a man who was bought up in the truth but left for 20yrs...in time i got married. I was reinstated on the 4th of December 2012. My husband is no longer a brother in the truth sadly. My older children are both happily married and spiritually strong with there partners. Things haven't been good in the last year sadly and verbal abuse and threatening to hit me is a constant fear. But I love Jehovah and I have to think of my 10year old daughter who has now developed nervous twitches, noises and jerks. She can't control it when she gets scared. So it's one day at a time again. I will wait for Jehovah to direct my steps as I'm having a few weeks rest byte with my parents.

Did you download all six sessions? Do you have an MP4 player on your PC?

A .partial file is one that didn't finish downloading. :< Perhaps you closed the browser before it finished, or there might be a problem with your internet connection? I can't know by any means without seeing what happened in person. I hope someone in your congregation can help you to get the convention downloaded!

  9. Awesome I homeschool my youngest at the moment been doing it for 15?yrs and found each child different. Currently my daughter is having difficulty with pie= 3.14 find that hands on is best for eg: a cake tin i asked her to trace on bakibg paper the outside of the bottom of the tin. She cut it out. Placed it in the bottom i then said how much do we need to do the sides i measured the height. I said how long do we need to do the length to go around it? She guessed i said measure across the middle how many centimetres is it she said 10cm I said it's roughly 10cm x 3 which is 30cm but I said there is a little bit extra needed maybe 1cm to cover totally. Then she said what is 3.14 or pie needed. I said because if you know the diameter of a circle and you times it by 3.14 you will get the exact answer. Some kids you can just tell them other children need physical proof and why it's necessary and then they get it just a little thought for Aussie maths grade 6 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think if we were Moses we would have been frightened as the thought of the Israelites listening to Jehovah's voice sent them into fear so they asked Moses to speak for him. I know I would drop dead with fright!!! I don't mean that in a negative either it gives me goosebumps pondering on this [emoji4][emoji173]️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
