Well here's a couple more from our service day today- stunning isn't enough to describe the day!! Oh ya, and the friends were spectacular too!! HA!

 

The first one was taken at 7:40 this morning, I was early to 'early' morning service so decided to go to the beach approach and see if I could talk to someone. Well, I opened my door, the wind caught it and ripped it out of my hand! My hair went straight up and so did my skirt- until I grabbed it and tucked in in my legs so I could at least take a picture. What an adventure!

 

This one is taken from a lookout point over Beards Hollow- a place where the body of a ship captain was found after his ship was wrecked near the Columbia River- so I was told today.

 

This one is taken from the beach approach looking back at Long Beach, the sign for "The Longest Beach in the World" is in the distance. I took it because of the sand blowing so hard you could get a facial!

 

This one is my favorite. 'Quiet Tempest'

 

The thing about the pics of the small waves was that the wind was blowing against them. The waves were coming in but the wind was so strong it blew them back against each other. Wow, a beautiful day.

Oh Dan, show off any time!!!!! I love Utah! It has my heart, as does any flat, dry, arid land. Or wheat field or valley. Anything but trees. I really get claustrophobic with too many trees, so I love where I live for now.

Any pictures from anyone where they live is inspiring to me. Annie from West Cork has posted pics and I absolutely loved them. It helps us all get acquainted with the different areas where we live. So POST AWAY! 

 

And a visit with your family? Sure, just let me know when so I can schedule you in. We have guests until November 27th. After that we have 2 rooms, 1 a full suite and the other will have to share your shower but they have their own 3/4 bath. And fireplaces- yep romantic! If you ignore the barbie play house and toy box in Autumn's room!! HA! Go ahead and come over.

I did see that this evening on the news it seems our Prime Minister spoke up ( according to the media) with strong words for Putin.

" Not open to any agreement" .....seems to be the order of the day .
