Dumb question, but wearing Jehovah's name like that, isn't that disrespectful? Wouldn't that be a form of idolatry? I have always thought about getting Jehovah tattooed on me in the past.

I don't think it is a dumb question, but rather an interesting one. The high priest in ancient Israel wore a hat with a gold plate that had Jehovah's names on it. But he was a special person performing a special function, and having Jehovah's name on a t-shirt is different. I don't think it is appropriate either.

Well, the real question for me would be... Where did he get it and what is it for? I mean it looks like a shirt that would say "Microsoft" or "Enterprise Car Rental". It just makes it look like Jehovah's Witnesses are a business. And unless he made it himself, who got the profit from that shirt? Interesting.

It certainly does seem unusual and they do not seem to be a spiritually strong family even if they are still professing to be witnesses.

However, it has definitely brought Jehovah's name to the of the world and that in itself is a good thing. Also it must make Satan & the demons very angry and that too is a good thing.
