"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

Angela, you made me curious so I looked up this "organ". I found this: http://www.sonicwonders.org/?p=1099

Sea organ, Zadar, Croatia

Driven by wind and waves this organ creates notes at random. Despite the unpredictability of when notes are sounded, overall what is heard is surprisingly harmonious. This happens because the different organ pipes have been carefully tuned to only produce certain musical notes that sound good together.

The sculpture is seventy meters long and has thirty-five organ pipes built under the concrete; as you move along the promenade the sounds and harmonies change. The movement of the waves and wind push air in and out of the organ pipes to create the notes. It was designed by architect Nikola Bašić

And Amy, I love the picture you've posted! I can't decide which of the houses I want to live in!

Oh Linda, the part of Jehovah's earth you live is amazingly beautiful. Took my breath away. I have seen nothing compared to where you are....wow!! Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Do most of the friends own cars. It do not seem there are any poor ones there.

Proverbs 27:11- Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him that taunts me.

Yes, Charlotte, we can really admire Jehovah's creation here where I live. And yes, most of the brothers own cars. It's an absolute necessity! There's quite some distance between each village and public transport is scarse. Unfortunately, work is extremely scarse, too! Sardinia has one of the highest unemployment rates in Italy. And the centre of the island is even worse than the coast. The brothers (and the population in general) really struggle just to survive. That's why so many grow their own vegetables and raise their own meat. We're not at all upset at the thought of Eze. 7:19. "Into the streets they will throw their very silver, and an abhorrent thing their own gold will become." None of the brothers will have anything to throw into the streets!!

Amy can you see Jesus in the foreground of that picture you posted? He is on the right hand side.

These are amazing photos of the beauty I wish I could see in real life. I love the movie Under the Tuscan Sun because of the scenery and the mountains/cliffs. I would love to visit the Grand Canyon but have not as of yet. I have been to Niagra Falls and cried from it's beauty. Jehovah surely knew what he was doing when he placed us in such places that inspire us to such great heights.

Yes I can see who you mean, would that not perhaps be one of the early Bible characters? I imagine maybe Daniel?

Who do you look forward to meeting from those times Chris? I like Daniels example because he reminds me of great loyalty and constancy and one i really want to talk to amongst others. :)

That is good Astrid. Here is Zoey and I meeting a couple of Capybara at the park for the first time:

That was a question of me, but Chuck is always first!

Sorry, but I didn't exactly hurry, it was over an hour between Leslie's post and mine. "If you snooze you lose"

Sure, you was not in a hurry, you just didn't snooze.

Especially when there is less than one post per day in this thread.

So one hour is a proper time :lol2:

...absolute rubbish...
