Tomato plants. We have a small pond in the yard. The usual size of the pond is about 3/4 acre but it is now about 1 1/4 acre in size. We live between the  Holmes Creek and the Choctawhatchee River, right where they intersect with each other. My brothers yard is full of water from the Homes Creek because the Choctawhatchee River is at flood stage.

We got a lot of rain here too, but it was cool/cold rain, better than snow any day .

The temp has been in the 70's. I'd post some more pictures but I'm stuck in my recliner for the next 3 weeks with a badly sprained knee.

I did have time this morning to see the weather from your area, that's amazing. I cannot fathom how loud it must have been. Will it take long for the water to go down? But then again did I hear you're in for more rain?

Then the cat.4 tornado in OK and AK, they I see this morning they said it was indeed a tornado. You folks over on the East coast have really had some rockin' and rollin' weather the last 6 months or so. That's miserable to live with.

Tuesday, just south of Jacksonville we were working on a house - installing irrigation - the rain came. We had to head into the garage and it kept us there for about 45 minutes or so.

 

When it blew by we went back out to the truck and discovered that we had about 1" - 1.5" of rain fall during that storm. Good thing for us this particular house had somewhat sandy soil.

Also, It can't be a true Macgyver kit, there is not duct tape!

When my son was in the 5th grade 'MacGuyver' use to coach his hockey team. Travis loved that series and thought that they were 'best friends'. But being quiet a onery child he use to take paper clips, matches, rubber bands to practice and toss them at him and say 'let's see you make (whatever) out of that". I know he MacGiyver-hated to see Travis coming. Everyone e else thought it was so funny. Poor guy.
