We had a church in our area tell all mothers to come in their pajama's for the mother's day service and everyone got free coffee and donuts. So glad we belong to an organization that doesn't have to stoop to those lows (bingo games, bake sales, popcorn, donuts, don't bother getting dressed, pop-up playgrounds for your kids, raffles) for support. When Jehovah is with you what could you possibly want for?

And there is the difference. When we ADVERTISE! it is something that doesn't need freebies and gimmicks. It is something that everyone can benefit from without all the bells and whistles.

I saw one last week that had a big sign out front that said

And sure enough, there was a drive thru window like at a restaurant with a man sitting behind it, lol.

Lol instead of taking the speaker out every week, at the last week of the month, whichever group has hospitality - that group gets together and everyone brings a dish to so they can eat with the speaker there at the Hall. We have a fridge, table, sink, etc. for the pioneers, so it's a great place to chat and eat lunch together.

We have a big social club, i mean church, that has a teen dance club. They have a theatre and all kinds of hobby type activities. They have billboards advertising what the latest offer is. They had guitar lessons and even craft beer brewing! There is a homebrew supply store across the street so i guess they must have parterned w them! The huge church parking lot is always full day and night.
