Interesting but not for the new world... Who will man the factories to produce each little bit needed seeing as we will have satisfaction in work? Repetitive boring factory work doesn't give real satisfaction. How will animals be protected from moving vehicles seeing as we are supposed to look after them? :)

Nah I really hope not for the new world. Not for me. :)

I wasn't actually thinking of roadways like we have now. No interstates or anything like that. But it might be possible to make similar items for walkways or paths. And it could possibly be done with no factories. It is possible to build integrated circuits in your garage today. And that work is actually interesting.

No need to apologize brother. I was not offended. I do not offend easily. I usually can think of a good positive reason for everything that happens or anything anyone says.

That idea came up several years ago and it has not been done or even started. Probably not possible in this old system. In the New System wonders will never cease.

There are so many ideas out there that should work, look like they would work and would be very beneficial that seem to get held up by bureaucrats and politics.

IndyCars, for example, used methanol as a fuel since the mid 60s.  So, for 50 years this race car series was using a green fuel.  Nobody else was using green technology until it became a political issue.  Now we see green fuels and flex fuels being pushed all over the place.

I saw photos of parking lots with solar collector sun shades.  You park your car under the solar collector and go shopping.  Your car is parked in the shade and the solar collector is there collecting energy.  Great idea!  Is it implemented anywhere besides these limited locations?  Nope.  I don't see a single solar collector in a parking lot here in Ohio.

Yet it looks like such a no brainer.

Solar roads.  Solar highways.  What a great idea.  Will we see it ever pursued fully?  Probably not.  There isn't the money involved.  There isn't the politics involved.

I hate politics.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

I agree! It's not even a money issue, we waste plenty of that doing it the wrong way. It is politics and the fear of what these breakthroughs will do to the existing inefficient industries.

Here is a story of how we could be burning sea water as fuel. This was a discovery from before 2007 when this video was posted!

That video is out of Cleveland.  I recognized the newscaster immediately, LOL

How much energy would it take to generate the sonic waves, though. That's the key.  At least with gasoline, then energy is already there.  You don't need another power source.

Ohio explains it!. When we drove through Ohio in mid-Feb. our van compass messed up and didn't clear up until we were in Oklahoma. Nothing works in Ohio :lol1: .

Consciousness, that annoying time between naps!

You do realize that Bethel is essentially a "factory" ... but the ones working there do not view their service as repetitive boring factory work that doesn't give real satisfaction.

Again, another topic getting derailed into a tech in the new world argument.  Why?

I guess it's just interesting to think about the possibilities for technology in the new world. Of course, the reality will be greater than anything we can imagine due to our limited experiences in the old world.

It's fun.  I just don't see or understand the need to turn every topic about future technology into a debate about whether will or won't have such tech in the new order.

I agree, every topic does not need to center on technology in the New System - we could talk about beards instead B):whistling::secret:

I have already posted all I am going to post concerning beards. I WILL grow one in the new system.

But there is no reason to debate about technology in the New System. We will be able to wait and see. But it is still an interesting subject.
