We had the letter read out too.  All the information links to the NCBI website.  Its interesting, if you understand the medical terms.  Could be useful if you are going to have surgery, for yourself and to give to the surgeon.  Another helpful resource.

Although it is available to the public, we want to make clear that this information is not for the worldwide brotherhood but, rather, for medical professionals who have patients who are Jehovah’s Witnesses.—1 Cor. 14:33, 40.

Not to derail, but it would be nice to see a special section of the website for school teachers.  Overview of our views on the holidays, flag salute, etc.  Maybe even a section where they could have suggestions to the teacher for alternative activities/projects for Witness students when the other students are making holiday-themed art projects.  

 

It would be great for Witness parents, when they go in for the first parent-teacher conference, to be able to explain our beliefs to the teacher, then show them the section of the website the teacher to go straight to for resources and information.  Teachers are stressed out as it is; I'm sure they'd love to have half the work done for them when it comes to ensuring their Witness students' needs are addressed.
