I can't believe that on our news they stated it was just as harmful as cigarettes...are you serious people???

If this is so, won't we need to stop eating it according to scriptures like cigarettes? It's awful news...

I seriously hope you are joking. I seriously doubt the WHO is subsidized by the tobacco industry. Did I miss the joke?

 

The WHO has classified bacon as being carcinogenic which means it could fractionally affect your chances of getting cancer.

Avoiding bacon based on this report would be like refusing to drink water because someone may drown in the ocean.

I have felt for 20 years that if everyone reduced their meat consumption by 10% it would be better for their health, reduce aduse of animals by meat producers and probably help the environment because of reduced requirement for land to raise the animals. This was not my own idea but came from various sources that I read.

The price of bacon had recently surged due to an epidemic, but if people stop eating bacon then the prices will drop.
