I don't use it in a long time but I think there's an option in the upper menu for font size. It will enlarge the content of the windows but not the font of the menu itself

Other than that you can use the magnifying glass on "accessories/accessibility"

While reading something like a verse in the bible or the text in a publication, in the upper right hand corner you will see 3 dots. Tap the 3 dots and then tap TEXT SETTING. When you do this, a slide will appear. Slide it to the right to enlarge the text you are reading.

What you say here is for the JW Library app.  I believe Michael meant the Watchtower Library on  CD/DVD.

I was wondering which Library he was asking about. As seen above, some thought the Android or Apple app, some believe the CD/DVD version.

Perhaps, when we have questions about any JW Library app/program we should stipulate which one we mean.

Now, if Michael will chime back in and let us know for sure which one - we can give better responses.

John is correct. I was asking about the Watchtower Library CD in particular the left

side menu which contains either the publication index, or the scripture index.

I too find it difficult. The entry window is very small. The publications list causes me eye strain. The view window is adjustable and I have no problem there.

My eyesight is fairly good, glasses for driving, bifocals for reading, vision fine for driving.

I run the Watchtower Library  program on a Windows 7  laptop (these instructions should apply to any version of Windows)

  • Click the F2 button on your keyboard to bring up the 'Properties for Library' dialog box.
  • Look for the 'Item:' dropdown list button - it has a little triangular arrow on its righthand side.
  • From the drop down list click on 'Browser text'
  • Use the 'Size:' dropdown to select a suitable text size.
  • Click the 'OK' button.

You can look through the 'Item:' dropdown list if you want other parts of the interface changing.

I was uncertain which text area of the interface you wished to enlarge. That's why I suggested at the end of my last post  "You can look through the 'Item:' dropdown list if you want other parts of the interface changing. "

Look through the dropdown list and select "Menu text" and set the "Size" to say 14 and don't forget to click the "OK "button

Don't know which Windows version you use but the above works for Windows 7.  Look in the "Sample" area to see if the sample changes to a size that suits you - and don't forget to click the "OK" button. Many text areas can be changed from this dialog box. If this isn't the one, then keep trying each oneuntil it works for you.

Easy way to zoom in or out, is to press control button from keyboard and hold it down, while doing that, then push forward or backwards that wheel on mouse.

Works only with online library.

David and Harri,

Thank you so much for the information. It was able to do all I wished. Just one

slight correction.. I found on my version ( Windows 10 ) in the drop down list

I had to  use browser text for the main screen. And I had to select navigation text

for the left index menu. It now reads so clearly. Thank you so much. And I hope your

advice helps others out there who want to know the same
